pretty fun but it could have been a lot more. I love the anthology style and how they all tie together. Honestly could've made a whole season out of this but what can u do.

Eh, it's whatever.

I liked Russell a lot, Shel and Becca were all right, but the other characters I didn't care for, and I know this DLC doesn't really affect the later seasons much.

Manage to get Shel, Becca, Russell, Bonnie, and Wyatt to come with me, but Vince stayed behind. No idea what would have con-Vinced him, but oh well, I'm just glad to have Russell.

My choices:

-Shot Justin's leg as Vince (lol)
-Didn't get out of the car as Wyatt (didn't realize this was even a choice or I probably would have)
-Drove off with the RV as Shel (fuck Roman lol)
-Left Nate as Russell (I was rude to this guy every possible chance, didn't trust him for a second)
-Told Leland the truth as Bonnie (everyone is so mean to her 💀)

Anyway, I stan Russ, hope to see him again.

This is a tough one for me to grade.

Even back when I was head-over-feels for Telltale's TWD, I wasn't that big of a fan of this and only replayed it a handful of times to 100% its trophies.

400 Days is what most associate downloadable content with: it's concise and doesn't do many new things. It simply takes what's there and tries to build off of it. Here's the problem with that, though: that's something that works in a more gameplay-centric title. Replaying the same level in a shooter might be a little repetitive, but there's still room for me to challenge myself and try new things out. You can't exactly do that with an Adventure game. You talk to the correct characters at the right times, solve the right puzzles, and then you're done.

None of that means that 400 Days never had the opportunity to be great. While your choices don't exactly matter in the base game, a shorter experience with more diverse chapters was a perfect opportunity for them to bake more impactful choices into the overall narrative. Add to that the fact that this is basically a collection of interactive short stories, and it's a real shocker that the player barely has any input in this. There's a lot of potential for gold here, but they dug silver up instead. I can settle for silver, though. It's a little disappointing, but I'll live.

A horrendous, utter waste of money. The game claims that the events that happen here will affect the characters in Season 2 but all that really happens is that the characters featured in this make a minor cameo appearance. An utter waste.

This is a solid standalone story. Some of the characters are better than others.

A great anthology style DLC for the first season of Telltale's The Walking Dead. It's cool to see that the characters weren't forgotten either and showed up in later seasons. It really helps the comic universe feel more fleshed out than it already is.

This is fine I guess? I mean, it was entertaining for what it was, but it really adds nothing of real value. It's just more Walking Dead, and for that intention it serves its purpose well enough. You're not given nearly enough time with the characters to even remotely care about them, meaning its hard to get invested. I wouldn't really recommend getting it as it really doesn't add much to the world nor is it a great standalone experience in and of itself. If you own The Definitive Edition though, I guess its worth a shot.

I don't know, I really enjoyed this one. It's cool to see "survivor stories" and also seeing them in the next installment

The world really is a small place

A very interesting dlc that delivers exactly that extra tidbit of lore material for the next games

O mundo realmente é um lugar pequeno

Uma dlc muito interessante que entrega exatamente aquele petisco a mais no material de lore pros próximos jogos.

What the fuck happened to Eddie.

This DLC is a great build up to season 2. There are 5 Stories with 5 different protagonists, showing a big event that happened to them during the apocalypse, each story is fun to do and gets you to know these characters better, and the ending is great any way you played the previous events. The Characters are great, Wyatt can be a bit annoying, but he's good too. The Voice acting is as great as the first game, apart from Lee and Clementine, it will be a miracle to find performances that good. The Graphics are the same as the main game, and they have the same benefits of its quality as well except for less beautiful moments since Lee and Clem aren't in it. The Gameplay is the same as last time, but shorter and with only 1 big choice per chapter except for Shel's which has 2. The Choices are all great, helped by the little room for errors as well, they don't change the characters positions before the ending, but they can affect the ending where, previous and current choices come together to decide which characters will join you or not, except for Bonnie she will join no matter what, hint at she will be important to the next game. The Music and sounds are the same as last time, just with less moments to show off how good they are. 400 Days is a well done DLC worthy of following the first game's path.

Ties into Season 2 decently enough, for what it's worth. Each of the individual segments probably would have had more impact if they'd been given an entire episode's worth of time to explore their characters and dynamics. As it stands now, it ultimately feels a bit shallow and slight.

Interesting to see where some of the characters come from in Season 2, but you could 100% skip it and it'd make so little difference. The characters that do appear have basically no impact on anything. I get that it's hard to implement big-time characters based on player choice, especially this many, but just anything more would have been nice.

An alright DLC (other than extremely short), sadly it is very useless for what happens in Season Two, makes you feel why it even exists if not for Bonnie, maybe.

This is an hour long experience or so of different characters in the universe and some of the tough choices they make in this dire world. I enjoyed it and would suggest playing it. It doesn't really add to the main story but helps you understand the stories of others in quick bites. It has the great music, story telling, and tough choices the original is known for. But you don't really feel a sense of connection or impact with any of it because the characters are introduced quickly and story is resolved as quickly.

DLC curtinha, mas com uma história bem contada. Não é tão imersiva quanto a Season 1, mas tem seus momentos de aflição.

It's interesting having 6 different short stories with a unique playable character for each, but in the game the choices you make really have no bearing at all, and practically mean nothing outside of this dlc.

This was essentially a DLC chapter to tide fans over while they waited for season 2, with suggestions that it would serve as a prologue to pivotal characters down the road. The vignette style of the storytelling works really well since this title gets to be action-packed all the way through and only needs to tell us the most riveting parts of each character's backstory.

Unfortunately, the promise that we would see more of this group in the future fell flat. Most of them relegated to tiny cameos in Season 2 and only one character becomes part of the ensemble cast of that game for a short while. I really wish Telltale had followed through in making this standalone chapter connect more with the overall experience.

The Walking Dead: 400 Days" is a decent DLC for the first season, although I'm yet to understand its point, since I haven't seen the characters appear in the main game again. (I've only played the first two seasons so far, maybe they will appear later?)

An interesting distraction for an hour and a half, but pretty forgettable and all of these characters mattered so little that they barely even existed in Season 2 despite the whole gimmick being "meet some of the upcoming cast!"

i sure hope more than one of these characters actually matters in season 2!

A cool DLC for an unbelievable game.

400 Days is a collection of short, well-made stories, all with some interesting characters. The gameplay is identical to the base game, and the stories are just as immersive. However, I can't help but feel that nobody would ever notice if this DLC was erased from history. I enjoyed my time with it, but it just doesn't add anything special to the series. I won't complain about more TWD content, though!

Overall, 400 Days is pretty much just more of The Walking Dead, just not as powerful and impactful as the base game. I still had a lot of fun, and I think it's a worthy DLC to pick up while playing through the first season. - 🕖

a victim of poor pacing, what could have been a fantastic anthology series about various groups, and an even more poignant take on moralities in a zombie apocalypse than the original game itself, is rushed into just one short, mediocre episode. as it is, purely of interest for those that fell in love with the walking dead game universe and want more.

i know i played this but have retained nothing past the rock paper scissors gimmick

It was harder to get as emotionally invested in this one being an anthology and all but it is a good time overall if you were a fan of the first game.

7.4/10

just dumb fun, good dlc but it's really not required

5/10

It's alright for what it is. It's too short and fast-moving for you to develop any kind of emotional investment or connection with the characters, but it does have some interesting ideas - the game revolving around a location rather than a character, each story tying into one another in some way, the potential callbacks to Season 1 (such as the possibility of running into Carley or Doug's body in Russell's story), the glimpse at different points in the post-apocalyptic timeline including the very first moments of the breakout, etc.

However, I'd go as far as to say the DLC was sold on false pretenses - I recall TellTale promoting it by claiming your choices would heavily impact Season 2, and that the characters' stories would serve as prologues to pivotal people in the sequel. This is really only true for a single character (who happened to be my least favourite), and even then the effects are utterly irrelevant. The rest pop up for a second each in one episode of Season 2, if they're lucky they get a throwaway line of useless dialogue for the sake of it, and then they disappear forever.

It does have some neat protagonists, though, and it does pretty well at making each story feel unique and distinct in tone and concept. My personal favourites to play through were probably Vince's and Russell's, though Wyatt's dynamic with Eddie really brought his up.

It's 100% skippable without missing anything, but if you have the Definitive Edition and it's included anyway, it's worth giving it a shot for the sake of it.

Favourite Male Character: Vince
Favourite Female Character: Stephanie
First Character I Liked: Vince
Favourite Character Design: Vince
Favourite Moment: I thought the shootout with Russell and Nate vs. the diner inhabitants was pretty fun
Least Favourite Character: Bonnie
