Gave me PTSD for all those late nights trying to maximise my healing and ammo without losing the good weapons, 9/10 would recommend.

A cute little puzzle game heavily based on the attache case from RE4. So based on the greatest inventory system of all time.

Very very short, doesn't over stay it's welcome, but it's also not long enough for me to really recommend it. It took me about 2 hours and for 2 dollars full price, I'd say that's pretty fair.

Really cool idea for a puzzle game, especially for a Resident Evil fan.

It's what you get on the metaphorical box
Just the re4 inventory but a puzzler

A game made from the concept of the Resident Evil 4 inventory system, with some surprisingly difficult puzzles based on making the most out of inventory space.

Resident Evil fans will get a kick out of the item descriptions. Despite the ominous music and atmosphere, it's not a horror title and there are no jump scares.

Not a long time, but a fun time.

It's a neat little puzzle game based on RE4's inventory system. There's not much to it, but I enjoyed it overall.

A nice little puzzle game. Yeah. That's it. Nothing more and nothing less.

Your enjoyment of this comes from how much you enjoy organizing your inventory in RE4.

And I like it :)

Did you ever play Resident Evil 4 and want to just organize that inventory? It's kind of satisfying getting all your items in the right spot, so someone thought that should be its own puzzle game. In Save Room, you organize weapons, health, and other items ripped straight from the game it's inspired by.

There are only 40 puzzles in total and you can blow through them in just about an hour. On the left is a cache with a grid and on the right are the items you need to fit in there. There are just enough squares to fit every item exactly. You begin with just fitting small pistols and then larger weapons like shotguns and rifles. Shortly after this, you need to organize health items and grenades. Things get more complicated when you start out with too many items.

Well, just like in RE4, you have a health meter and need to refill your guns. You need to do this in a certain order as this is also part of the puzzle. You may have three health items, but can only use two so you must figure out how to combine herbs and also hurt yourself with poisoned eggs and fish to be able to use more health items. Later on towards the last dozen puzzles you start crafting ammo in addition to stacking ammo and reloading weapons.

This all sounds complicated, but if you ever played RE4 you know exactly what to do already. A few puzzles will get your brain juices flowing. Mostly the ones that needed me to combine certain types of ammo and reload or stack ammo in a certain order. I only had to look up a few puzzles online, but most are quick trial and error levels and you will be breezing through them.

This sounds like a great concept, but in the end, it gets old really fast and it makes you just want to play RE4 instead. The visuals are pretty ugly, there's a single track that loops in the background, and that's all there is too this. For the low asking price I can't really complain. I had my hour of fun, but it's totally forgettable. This isn't on the same level as Portal or even something like The Room series. You won't be talking about this 10 years from now. I honestly can only recommend this to RE4 fans who want some sort of weird spin-off. Anyone else who never played RE4 just won't care about this or even get the idea.

fun & cute, more than just a tetris puzzle with other puzzling things like, how do i hurt myself just enough to use all the healing items, & how do i spit this ammo between guns. very short though, would love for even a dlc to get more puzzles!

Resident Evil's 4 inventory made as an individual game, if you've played RE4, you know exactly what you're going to expect from this game, I've beaten it in a 90 minute session, so it's not a long game, I was able to grab this for 0,50 $ on a 10-game pack, so if you find it there, it's worth the purchase

Save Room: Organisation Puzzle knew exactly what it wanted to be, and that was to appeal to RE fans and the beloved inventory management. The aim was to fit objects into limited spaces, levels getting more complicated while introducing some simple mechanics like combining herbs. It was fine, I liked it for what it was and, of course, it felt familiar.

Save Room is a fun puzzle game that combines inventory management akin to Resident Evil with stylish challenges across 40 levels. If you get it on sale bundled with the second game, it's 80 combined levels of fun atmospheric puzzling for less than a cup of coffee. Fun, Quick, and worth the price.

A little unintuitive in some parts to those who haven't played played Resident Evil 4 (like me), however, I still caught on quickly and had a lot of fun throughout my playthrough. Solid puzzle game for a reasonable price, though I will caution this: The game's difficulty will largely depend on your organizational skills, hence why my playthrough lasted for only 3 hours. Others may not be as lucky

What a deviously clever idea. Seeing as how I'm an easy lay for both jigsaw puzzles and the aesthetics of the Resident Evil franchise, Save Room hits real good.

There honestly isn't a lot more to add here. It's the Resident Evil 4 inventory screen, but as a puzzle game. Figuring out the order of operations for which items you need to use up to make space, and then slot everything in is just right - all while a delightfully Resi:esque soundtrack sets the mood - it's incredible.

Simple, clever, doesn't outstay its welcome, and with just enough references to please a fan without overplaying its hand. Just delightful.

Neat little game. Using the mechanics established in the Resident Evil games (specifically RE4) is a puzzle game where you organize your inventory. That's it. Solid music, assets & achievements.

Some levels can be a bit too obtuse but I enjoyed it a lot

A simple idea: expand the Resident Evil 4 inventory into a short but sweet puzzle game.

I finished it over a lunchtime. I don't mind the abrupt ending, but I feel like it's maybe short a mechanic or two to really make it stand out. The lack of a puzzle editor also really hurts when the game itself is so short. That might have given this game a long tail.

But all in all, not a bad way to spend a couple of quid.

Neat short puzzle game based on one of the best inventory systems in video gaming (Resident Evil 4). Got all the achievements in an hour and a half, and id say it's worth its 3$ price mark.

Quaint and short little timewaster - only took me roughly an hour to finish all the puzzles - based on the Resident Evil 4 inventory, where you try to fit everything you have into your attache case through combining, crafting, healing and rotating. It's a neat idea and I'm in two minds whether or not this feels like a short demo of something that could be easily expanded upon (different genre archetype inventories etc) or whether the minute length is just right for the novelty. It's not going to cause any kind of brain aches from having to think too much but for a little over £1 on a sale, it was worth a play for the fun idea.

An ironclad idea - what if the inventory management of RE4 was its own game - executed just about perfectly and without overstaying its welcome.

Resident Evil 4's inventory management as a puzzle game. It could do more with what it is and there's a small bug when using the mouse that prevents you from swapping items.

Still, those are minor gripes. Great way to spend an hour and half if you get it for cheap. Pretty chill despite the music being so damn ominous.

I loved this. It's a very simple concept, but it's clearly made from a place of passion about RE4, and it's got great humor. The puzzles are fun and engaging, and overall it's just a great way to spend an hour or so, and a great use of three bucks.
