This is what it feels like to drive in Atlanta

this game will make you a sigma male

Challenging, very smooth and fast-paced, has great course design, very balanced, and super fun. Just an overall super favorable racing game.

Sure the difficulty isn't exactly balanced, making even novice mode a challenging experience, but the track design, blazing speeds, heavy soundtrack, and destruction physics make for an adrenaline rush that is unmatched in gaming. Add in mechanics that are easy to learn and hard to master, and you have what is far and away the best racing game I've ever played.

This game is incredibly wild and fast, and that's why I like it.

Props to the genius who came up with combining F-Zero and Monkey Ball physics but I do not like the grind to unlock story stages.

And yes, it is absurdly hard. I do think some of the earlier missions should have been a tad easier to help players starting out.

The best racing game to ever be produced. Imagine if Nintendo could release a sequel on Switch with 30 racers online.

The magnum opus of racing games. Still to this day i havent experienced any new racing game that had the perfect balance of tight playability and adrenaline rush speed that this game has.

The only bad thing about this game is that its AI is extremely cheap on hard difficulties and the game's story mode. Some of the story mode chapters will not leave you any room for error so be at your most tenacious when playing.

i got this game in the late 2000s and i don't regret buying it. story missions 6 and 7, and also 2, and also 3, and 4, and 5 and 8 and 9, made me want to commit pyramid scheme but i had fun playing the game and that's all i could ask for (especially the baller af soundtrack)

This game came out in 2003 and is still one of, if not the best, racing games out there, but it would be even more insane if this game came out today and had online with 30 other players.

Gotta be honest, I really don’t see the appeal of this franchise when I can get much more fun racing from Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing. There is something there, but I don’t think it’s for me.

A very cool follow up that's just a bit too unforgiving for my tastes. Of course, it's true that F-Zero was always pretty unforgiving, but I found this game to be harder to control, and it also had a lot of tracks that were both harder and longer than those in F-Zero X, which made it harder to finish reliably. Still, there's a lot great here. It has cut scenes, the tracks run through actual environments, and cool mission modes. While I struggled with this, I do still think it's very cool.

Incredible speed and extremely fun!

Really unique and exhilarating game that is very challenging

Never before have I had so much fun with a game I’m so bad at. Every few years I pop this game back in and play it for a while. Every couple of those I actually make some progress in the story mode. I think I’m a little more than half way done with it at this point. And I’ve absolutely loved every moment of it. No game has ever done such a good job of making you feel so fast.

I have not touched the singleplayer so I'll refrain from giving it a rating, but the best way I can put it is that it almost goes as hard as "Star Wars: Episode One - Racer".

F-ZERO GX literally gave me heart palpitations. That's how crazy it is. Its the most competent racing game. So much attention to detail and polish. Though the game doesn't take itself serious with the characters and story...It makes up for with its fast, responsive, and fun gameplay. I love to use the Astro robin, especially after watching the F-ZERO anime :) this game has some killer music as well. Songs like Infinite Blue, Blood Falcons Theme, Shotgun Kiss, ect. Not to mention the game has perfect difficulty. This game is hard AF but it allows beginners to warm up, and is very friendly early on unlike Sonic Riders.

the dark souls of games about going 6,000 mph through a loop-de-loop in a hover car suspended 300 miles above a cyberpunk city

One of the most insanely intense hard racers ever created.

Among the fastest and most technical racing games ever made, featuring a notoriously brutal story mode known to turn boys to men. Maybe the reason we never got another F-Zero was because they knew they couldn't top this one.

All these years later, it's still one of the finest, most thrilling heart-attack inducers the game industry has ever created.

HYPE. My favorite Gamecube game, period. I loved this ridiculously fast and absurd racing game and my friends hated when I made them play it. The story mode was nonsense but building your own ship was awesome. Bring it back Nintendo!

This game is really fucking good, probably one of the best racing games ever, and really does deserve a sequel. The story mode is pretty boring and useless, but completing Grand Prix mode is really fun. I hope Nintendo either Re-releases this or makes a new game.

De mis juegos de carreras favoritos. Canto de cisne (por ahora) dejando el listón altísimo

Why do we even need a new F-Zero when we can just play this one? Forever.
