Sweet game, fun times a bit too repetitive but I know what I got myself in to

Kinda sburd how much better of a deal this is compared to I.5

Beat Birth by Sleep. Was at once hyped and disappointed at the secret level, but the game overall was a fun experience that rekindled my excitement for Kingdom Hearts.

One of the best games ever made from a gameplay perspective but I do find the constant interruption from cutscenes sort of intrusive on a replay and the opening sequence is a little tedious. Nevertheless, one of my all-time favs.

Kingdom Heats 2 is an 8, Birth by Sleep is a 7.5 and Re:coded is like a 5 or 6. This is what I'd give the entire thing overall. I like Kingdom Hearts.

This is probably one of the better collections out there if you're looking for great games to play honestly. It has Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, one of the best games of all time, and then also Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix, another straight up great game, as well as a bonus movie for a ds game they couldn't figure out how to remake that has probably one of the most unintentionally funniest lines in the series. Definitely worth playing through if you're interested in Kingdom Hearts, though honestly you could probably pick up the all in one package or the story so far for more value overall. That being said, this collection as I played it is incredibly solid and has two unforgettable experiences in it. Completely worth it in my opinion

9.5/10

-Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix-
My favourite game on the PS2, I can vividly remember playing this game over and over for months, everything about it is improved and better than 1, a perfect game in the perfect series. This game was already perfect enough, and then they had even more content? Crazy. More bosses, harder challenges, they just keep improving on everything. All-time favourite in the series.

-Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix-
This was pretty ambitous game, 3 full story modes plus 2 secret chapters, that and including all the collectibles to do thats hundreds of hours of content. Ventus, Aqua and Terra's storys are all really enjoyable and fun to play, this game is a great addition to the series.

-Kingdom Hearts Re:coded-
Simliar to 358/2 Days, they just took some of the cutscenes and made them HD, again I feel like this could of been done better though.

Jesus christ, hahaha

This game's plot is so far beyond convoluted, that I just gave up on trying to make sense of it. The gameplay is marginally better than KH1, and some of the levels are cool, but the persistent permeation of the absolutely abhorrent plot makes this game a chore to play.

Oh, and a 4 hour introductory tutorial...fun...

Score applies to KH2.

BBS to be played.

Fun but flawed action rpg with cool aesthetic

This is the version of II that has the best fight in the game, the Roxas fight that was previously just a cutscene. This is also the first time I fully finished BBS, as I did not know about the final episode previously.

The two best kingdom hearts games in one package. Sign me up

Only 1-2 games out of the whole compilation are even worth playing, and the other's aren't even worth watching the cutscenes for since the KH story is a mess to begin with.

Simple and clean! Lots of content in two great games, but, again, the third "game" is merely a movie.

KH1 but better in every way. More interesting boss fights and combat, a more interesting story, better presentation, more expansive Disney worlds both old and new, and the list goes on. A satisfying playthrough from start to finish.

as silly as the premise behind these games is, they're so much fun with so many great character moments. truly special

Story good, writing questionable, gameplay gorgeous, Sanctuary awesome

New fight mechanics make for a frenzied update of the first game's perhaps rigid to a fault slugging. That is until the boss fights where thought reenters the fore — sorry but Roxas is a more relentless, punishing, and decisive fight than Dark Souls' Ornstein and Smough. My issue is with the despatialisation of the game where the first so radically reduced familiar Disney worlds to clumsy sets in order to channel both the appeal and limitations of nostalgia. It was affectionate and utterly heartbreaking. The tangled levels asked the player to return, to see what they might've missed or maybe just spend more time there. Kingdom Hearts 2 is effectively a long cut scene with interactive bits. The levels are stripped of texture, Sora feels like he's gliding along the floor, and the painted corridors let us know that there is nothing here to return to after the cutscenes are over. Often we will get a cutscene that places us on a path, and there is nothing to do but walk along the path to cue another cutscene. It comes together near the end with a narrative charge that finally 'feels' like something, but really the game begins and ends in its (excellent) boss battles.

The music is better in this one so i prefer this

game is so much better if you just skip a bunch of the cutscenes lol

Kingdom Hearts 2 - 7

Birth by Sleep - 7

2 is a amazing game and BBS is nice too. Coded is only cutscenes and has a very mid story. Overall nice collection.

I tried! The cutscenes are just so long and so slow without saying anything. The gameplay is funnish but not good enough to enjoy if you are ignoring the story. Fun to hear Donald Duck shriek but I just really didn't get it. I was bored.

MY BROTHER TRICKED ME AND BOUGHT THE GAME BEFORE ME FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

Will never get tired of these games.

This is a bundle that contains the middle third of the xehanort saga of Kingdom Hearts. It includes HD remakes of Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Remix and Kindgom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Remix, as well as a cutscenified version of Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded. In terms of bonus content, completing each game unlocks a special console theme based off of each game, which is cool. Like the first collection, this is definitely the most accessible way to play these games and I do think the overall game quality is better here than with 1.5 so yea
