Even slight latecomers to the series like myself can tell you the wait and anticipation for this game was tremendous,so for it to finally come out was considered a miracle by many.
A fantastic and satisfying conclusion to a saga that has spanned 2 decades and several platforms,as well as a door to what comes next. The switch to the U4 engine makes this the most visually pleasing game many will have seen, and the movement and combat are the smoothest the series has experienced so far.
The worlds themselves are the largest we've had, though some old favourites are slightly more boxed in than previous visits. Several memorable songs from the previous games also make a return for that sense of nostalgia, though the new pieces shouldn't be discounted.
The last bit of praise I'll give, though I could go all day,is the introduction of DLC as opposed to the 'Final Mix' games, which meant buying the same game twice for slightly different content. This was a much needed change that means everyone can now enjoy the full intended game without breaking their wallets.
An all around brilliant game that acts as a love letter to fans that have been around since the early games,I cannot reccomend this game enough.

Combat has some rough aspects but its a great foundation and advancement of the concepts Osaka team did previously and improved immensely with the Remind DLC. The World design is LEAGUES better than 2 by having actual content outside of a few levels. Story has some issues but its a satisfying enough for this arc of KH
A fantastic payoff for nearly two decades worth of games. The gameplay might be not nearly as deep as previous games (literally just 2), but it makes up for itself by being just a really strong conclusion that gets genuinely tear-jerking in places. If you're someone that's always been kind of iffy on getting into the KH series due to their reputation of being a very hard to understand story, I'll say that KH3 makes it all worth it.
The Kingdom Hearts series has been narratively deteriorating for the past few decades now, but this game was the final nail in the coffin for me. What I loved most about this series was the great fun they had with Disney and how they integrated it into the plot. My favorite aspect were the boss battles with Disney villains.
The series took the wonderful simplicity of the first game- a boy going through Disney worlds to find his two friends- and perverted it to no length. KH3 is the culmination of all of the perversion this series has gone through.
The worlds are expanded, but not in any interesting way. Instead of seeing more of the iconic areas from Disney movies, KH3 instead chooses to take out additional worlds so that we can see more generic rock, grass, ice, etc. Additionally, Disney means very little to the plot- they're simply backdrops for re-enacting the original movies for no discernable reason. Disney characters are hardly ever bosses, even when the narrative sets them up to be. We instead get bait and switches where we have to fight more giant heartless instead. What's more, the Organization and other weeby OCs that I didn't enjoy have taken the entire narrative space of the series and turned it into something that is a shell of its original concept.
Gameplay is fine- there are moments I definitely enjoyed- but I'll be honest, after slogging through Monstropolis, I put the game away and then sold it sometime later.

Kingdom Hearts III may have occasional hints of fun with the enjoyable yet too flashy combat and the world explorations. However, the convoluted story brings down the game's quality causing the pacing to be ruined by long and dull cutscenes of people just standing in a hallway and talking. Some worlds such as the Frozen world are also extremely boring and frustrating to get through.
