Obviously this game's gonna get compared to Factorio for the rest of time but their different dimensional perspectives do mean they play almost nothing alike. The thing I think that really hamstrings Satisfactory (and doesn't Factorio) is how intensely end-game factories rely on the RNG factor of hard drives, and how hard drive collection is literally just a repetitive chore that you have to do once you reach Tier 7. Maybe they'll change it eventually but having to tear down and redo entire sections once you get the objectively more efficient recipes is super annoying.

looking to complete the holiday event before I put this away until update 4 releases in spring. VERY engrossing

my emotional range throughout my playthroughs of the game went from stressful, to scary, and finally fun. It's Very satisfactory, kind of boring at times, really stressful, and very grindy, I would recommend this game if you are patient, excitable, work professionally as some sort of civil planner or engineer, and have a lot of time to sink into a videogame

perfectionists will have a field day with this

While its early access status still entail a lot of issues, particularly in multiplayer, Satisfactory feels like a dream come true. Eases you in from running around the grass cutting trees to having map wide fully automated mega-factories, particularly fun with a friend.

Un juego increible para los pajeros de la automatizacion

this game is really good but it was hard for me to play for a bit without feeling immensely overwhelmed

Onceler Simulator.

I hit a bit of a wall here and might need to start over, my shit's a mess. Ended up feeling kind of overwhelmed once I got to advanced steel production.

Slick, sophisticated, and blatantly unfinished.

Really great Factory Game. Good choice from the devs to leave survival aspect mostly behind. Mediocre music :(

Be aware that my score is based on a previous version of the game, where many of the problems I had seem to have been dealt with by new mechanics added in patches since I last played.

I don't have a problem, I just need another minute to make this 4th assembly work at 100% efficiency, easy stuff, I'll just split a fifth of the output from the main screw factory so the iron rods can load at 20/minute and the screws at 100/minute, but wait, if I use a power slug I can go to 150% efficiency, although I'll need to add another coal powerplant to have enough energy so everything will be right in the world and I won't die on my sleep.

I played this game twelve hours a day for three weeks straight while unemployed. If only working in a real factory was this engaging and fun.

I absolutely love the freedom and pacing in this game and can't wait to see what new content they'll add!

Pretty incredible how it always sets many attainable goals before the player and you don't need to read 250 pages long engineering manual to have a clear understanding how the pipeline output can be optimized and maximized at any given time.

Exploration is very emergent and neat, the combat is surprisingly capable for something you do 0.1% of the game and it's just pretty as heck.

Will revisit on a release and try to build something better organized than my first attempt at factorymaking.

Fun and satisfying at first to get a functioning factory up and running but the later materials and machinery got too complicated for a smooth brain like me.

This game has no right being as fun as it is.

What can I say, its satisfying

i loved this game until the introduction of pipes and liquids which (imo) are easily the absolute fucking worst and most jank parts of the game which you are forced to use to ever progress in the game
(this might be fixed now or maybe it's just me who had this issue so i haven't let it affect my rating too much)

I love factory style games, but I can't play one without comparing it to the masterpiece that Factorio is, which is sad, because Factorio is such a good game, that few games stand up to it.

Satisfactory is up there, but not quite close enough. It's amazingly fun, 3D building makes up for some amazing vertical factories, and the world exploration is awesome.

My only problem is something that can hardly be fixed. Blueprints don't exist in Satisfactory, and that means that you cannot copy and paste a solution you already implemented before. That means that increasing your production turns into a chore because you need to build everything all over again, which is especially annoying with buildings that require two different ingredients.

It's a different experience, but it won't dethrone Factorio.

started enjoying this game a ton more once I found out to make a factory instead of doing manual labor… hindsight 20/20!

in all seriousness, this game is great. the pacing is clean and there are many ways to optimize the output of your factory. also, customization options are pretty cool as well!

3D factory logistics game that I'm never gonna finish
