insane fucking game man

This game is great it gives me a splitting migraine every time I play

- Very hard to get into, but once you are there, the stuff you can do is wild and incredibly fun.
- The art style requires some time to get into but its there for a reason, still not my cup of tea.
- The music is wild and keeps it fresh.

This game gives me migraine every time I play it. Would play again.

this game feels like listening to The Money Store while chugging lukewarm Everclear and diethylamide at 2:40 AM

the written by a 13 year old anti capitalist sentiment at the end definitely ties this shitty excuse of a game together

Super fun and unique game wish more games were like this and the artstyle is something i need more in games i love it so much.

i love this game but the game doesn’t love me back, making me love it even more

worst part is, i can’t even put into words why i like it so much

O Melhor Jogo que NUNCA Jogaram. - AfonsoMais

I love auteur shit like this. Genuinely the most cutting work of Cyberpunk fiction I've ever seen in my whole life.

Extrañamente bien diseñado para haber sido creado con sabrá cuantos Kojimas encima

This is one of those things you just need to play to understand the hype.

I think people who tout this as an "immersive sim" have done a significantly more damage than the game's hideous art style itself. Not every game that mixes stealth with open-ended mission design is an immersive sim and Cruelty Squad is a prime example of that - it's a miserable experience if you try to approach this like other immersive sim! But... if you throw that whole idea outside of the window and don't try to approach it as immersive sim, but just a mix of a shooter and stealth game, where you are hired to eliminate targets and then try to figure out what works and what doesn't for each mission, when stop carrying about whatever enemies are onto you and you stop carrying about not abusing their simplistic AI - then the game becomes actually very enjoyable and satisfying to play. And then its "shitpost" ideas also start fitting significantly better to the entier concept of the game... and only then you get hooked on the idea of trying to see what else the game is hiding and replaying levels to make later levels easier for yourself.

ville hates us for a reason

Don't regret my time with this game but probably not one that I would return to. Gameplay is decent enough but the deliberately grotesque art style is a double edge sword that although distinct and creative etc, it can be hard to tell what is going on at times.

I'm so glad people can appreciate filth like this. As hip as it would be to call this a lite version of even grimier works, this is the goddamn real deal. Glorious.

What can u even say. I think any legitimate writing on this game probably comes off cringe. I'll just say that this thing doesn't end up working. It's a black hole with really cool art. I think I might even actually like it a bit. It's complicated

It plays like ass, which is both a compliment and an insult towards this game.

Cruelty Squad is to glorpcore what 9/11 was to the United States

It's... I don't fucking know it's odd? The game will most certainly give you eye cancer but that's surprisingly a good thing as well? The gameplay is cancer but fun at the same time, lots of secret, lots of torture, and once again lots of cancer. The story also makes literally no sense but at the same time there really is a story that goes quite deep
