Very high quality stealth game with great enemy AI and great level design. If I'm honest though... I kinda wish the whole game was more similar to the the DLC mission. The tools that Dosan has in my opinion lend to more fun and creative scenarios, and the mission structure of the DLC was much more interesting, to me at least.
Probably the best stealth game I've ever played. Somehow the 2D makes it much nicer, it feels very tactical. You have a lot of knowledge, so every mistake is truly your fault. While you can do full stealth, you can also break your enemies' psyche and send them packing. Animations are smooth and sounds are satisfying.
Very good game, level design was great and it did a good job of doling out new abilities that added new ways to interact with the world. It could be entertaining to go back and replay the levels with these new abilities and/or try to get all of the optional 'honor' points. The storytelling was well done, though the focus was rightfully on the gameplay over the narrative.
I'm not much of a fan of stealth games, and this was one of the few I have played, but between the stylish art and the accessible gameplay, Mark of the Ninja is a great entrypoint to the genre.
The story is pretty threadbare, but it keeps the pace of the game trucking along from level to level. The suite of tools made available to the player is quite solid, forcing them to economize them properly between enemy encounters in order to complete levels without detection. That level of skill expression is always great to see.
The standout of this game is the animation and style of the game, truly a cartoon come to life. The fluid animation of movement, the beauty of the background and scenery, it really helps to sell the fantasy on display here. For newcomers to the stealth genre, there are few games as accessible as this one, and it's a worthwhile playthrough for anyone interested in a solid stealth game.

A very fun little game from the makers of Shank. Their awesome animation plays a part here and the stealth elements are a lot of fun. There are a lot of interesting items to use and the story takes a interesting sharp turn in the last quarter of the game which surprises you. I'd recommend this to anyone whose out for some stealth action game fun.
Edit: The writing to this I quite enjoy too, along with the whole mystery of the cursed ink that can enhance the user, but also toxify their blood in a way that makes it so the one who gets the work done will die sooner rather than later, as is the main plot of the story along with an ancient group struggling to live in a more modern, technological age.

The best ninja game I've played. I normally hate stealth games, but this one does it just right. You really feel like a ninja when you stealth kill some guards, or throw down smoke clouds to escape. The puzzles were interesting and the game was challenging without being frustrating. I also loved the Genndy Tartakovsky style art, and the cool and unique story of the Ninja's tattoos. Just an all around awesome experience. Play it!
