euqueria um jogo completo capco😪

unfun. was really disappointed.

Short and sweet. Wish it was more in line with the original.

This game . . . .I was thrilled when it got announced loving the original so much but I was very let down by this one. This is the complete opposite of what a company should do when making a remake, scrapping almost all of the original content, removing areas from the original game, adding new enemies that are either super cheap or out of place, and making a shameless money grab off the popularity of another remake. Can't recommend this one at all if you like the original at all.

Even disregarding the blatant lack of care for the original, the audio in this game is horrendously bad. Everyone sounds like they recorded using old Apple earbuds. But onto the game itself, Nemesis is barely present, they cut the clocktower and removed most bosses. Disgrace to the RE name.

You ever liked a game that you were also really disappointed by?

That basically sums up my experience when playing RE3 Remake. I remember seeing this game first get announced and I was unbelievably hyped, but then the reviews came in and everyone said the game was a huge letdown so my expectations going into it could not be lower.

I enjoyed it decently enough but the game did nothing that I hoped it would do. I was hoping it would make the cast more interesting, maybe give Brad and Jill more time spent together so Brad's death hits harder, Nope. Maybe make Nicholai more interesting but no, he still just exists and is overshadowed by Nemesis. The only character that's improved here is Carlos and to be fair, his interactions with Jill are the highlight of the game for me and I actually really grew attached to them by the end of the game unlike in the original. His sections are also pretty fun since he can actually defend himself unlike Sherry or Ada and seeing how Marvin got bit and exploring the RPD before the events of RE2 take place was also really cool to see. But that brings me to another issue I have with the game, they remove areas that were unique to RE3 like the Clock Tower, Park and Dead Factory in favour of adding a Sewer and an RPD section, both of which were already in RE2. This ends up making the game feel less like an RE3 Remake and more like RE2 Remake Lite, with a slightly more aggressive Mr X.

The game just lacks identity and a big reason for that is that the element that should've got the most attention barely gets any. Nemesis sucks here. In the PS1 Original, you really feel like they did as much with him as was possible with the hardware, here he basically only shows up in cutscenes and any surprise factor he had in the OG is completely absent here. He should've been Mr.X on steroids but instead he's just a poor mans version. His bossfights are some of the most fun ones in the series though but still, relegating a character that should've been re-introduced as an icon of survival horror to basically having the same role as Birkin in the 2 Remake is a crying shame.

To sum up, RE1R is the type of remake that replaces the original, RE2R is the type of remake that sits alongside the original and RE3R is the type of remake that makes you appreciate the original way more. I liked it decently enough for the 5 hours that I spent on it and I'm giving it a 7 because I went into it with basically no expectations but realistically, this is probably a 5 or 6 at best.

I can totally understand why the people that played the original got pissed at this remake, however, as a person that loved RE2 Remake and didn't played the original YET, this is just what i loved on RE2 Remake with a slightly fleshed out gameplay. The Jill Dodge and the Carlos Punch are kinda broken if you know how to use them but they add more dynamic to the usual zombie killing, some weapons feels better, combat feels better, beautiful graphics, the UI feels more responsive and even the safe room having it's iconic music, but then the shitstorm appears.

Reusing. This game's the definition of this word on the dictionary. I don't have a problem with that most of the time, even my favorite franchise Yakuza has a shit ton of reusing, but in this game, the reusing just made it feel incomplete, like a DLC of RE2 to be honest. The level design feels off too, absurdly low amount of puzzles even compared with RE2 that is already pretty low on puzzles. The map is also largely more forgetable when compared to RE2 iconic maps, but it's unfair comparing that part now because i played RE2 4 times and RE3 just one, it's obvious i will remember RE2 map more. There's also cut content, entire moments that aren't on the remake, but i don't know about how good it's what's not on the remake so i can't talk about it much to be honest.

Then there's the campaign, maybe i'm bad or some shit but it wasn't that fast to beat as i see other people say, the campaign size only bothers me because there isn't much to do after beating the first time like RE2 Remake, another thing that made the game feel incomplete. Now the story to be honest, it's not very impressive. I wasn't waiting much anyways, the only story that actually moved me on both "Raccon City Saga" Remakes was Claire's. I can say that RE3 story even feeling incomplete with it's ending just like the whole game or not having a ton of creativity (my live reaction to nemesis and his 99th form (he will die this time trust me)) at least there's a fun dynamic between Carlos and Jill instead of wathever the fuck is going on with Leon and Ada on 2.

TL;DR: Incomplete but fun mess. Give it a try, maybe it's the worst shit you ever played by Capcom, maybe it's Resident Evil 2 2 for the one's that loved RE2 Remake just like me. I feel like it's really a 3.5 stars game but i had fun so fuck it, 4 stars, can't wait to play 4 Remake.

It is a fun time but man it lacks in content and polishing.

Overall, Resident Evil 3 is a wonderful continuation of Capcom’s latest remake efforts. Although its just-okay multiplayer mode falls short of the bar set by its magnificent single-player campaign, the latter does such a good job at balancing 2020 gameplay and a classic Resident Evil tone that I recommend it without reservations. Hopefully, we’ll see more classic games in Capcom’s library remade with such finesse and loving care – along with some new games, too.

i wouldnt wish this experience upon anyone

i get why fans of the original would be mad. this lacks some content which when compared to the second remake is outrageous considering how filled to the brim with unnecessary but welcome extras that was besides having all the original content. that said, this is an improvement in every other regard if you prefer action over horror. a very solid game despite the short length.

Pretty cool. Not as amazing as REmake 2 was, but this isn't a bad game at all. It does make some curious decisions with its approach to being a remake of Resident Evil 3 in particular, but the end result I had a good time with. Better than I was expecting, going in.

latino icon carlos oliveira is in this what more do u want

Compared to other entry in the franchise, Resident Evil 3 Remake is not a tale about facing adverse odds through camaraderie, but a story of a rivalry. Throughout the game, the fight between Jill Valentine and the aptly named Nemesis is always at the centre of the scene, a fight which is not only physical but ideological. Coming from two opposing yet equally bad factions, the shady Umbrella corporation and the American police force, Jill and the Nemesis face each other at the moment of the greatest divide for Raccoon City, and the issue at hand being: should a private corporation be given endless funding to produce a weapon to kill all human life on the planet? Also, there is a zombie apocalypse.
Jill and the Nemesis clearly have diverging opinions on the matter, thus the impasse between the two is formed but, as much as this stalemate is fascinating, what really elevates RE3R is the character development of the Nemesis himself. We learn late into the game that the Nemesis was created to be controlled with a brain parasite, a clear metaphor for modern day brain parasites that control us all, like Twitter. He is an inhuman being with no free will nor desire of his own, a true redditor, shielded in black and covered from head to toe the first time we meet him, metaphorically and literally blind to what is happening in front of him. It is only through Jill that the layers around the Nemesis are gradually peeled off, by repeatedly setting him on fire, thus shedding unto him a light of clarity, which in turn reveals his real form both to us and to himself. The Nemesis is, of course, resistant to this at first, scared of having to question his own life up to that point, having lived for a whole of three days before meeting Jill. He tries to debate Jill’s facts and logics using his own feelings on the situation, and a rocket launcher. His flaws are obvious for all to see, he tries to mansplain his reasoning about the good that Umbrella can achieve by brutally murdering Jill Valentine, but slowly he can’t help but develop a begrudging respect for her.
It is only after being drowned in acid that he finally lets his heart out, bare for all to see and fry with a rail-gun, maybe defeated in his ideas, but nonetheless the Nemesis knows that he has been understood by his peers, and that recognition is what ultimately matters. He may be a gargantuan monster capable of growing ten stories tall and full of filthy appendages, but at the end of the day he is human, just like us.
Resident Evil 3 Remake is about humanity, the rivalry that may form between men and women, and how the key to succeed together is through mutual understanding. What a beautiful game.

Minus one star because the fucking dogde button never works.

I really did enjoy what little the game offered and I loved Jill and Carlos because they're both hot as hell but man I wish they would've included more areas to explore because it felt way too linear as is. Even with cut content it's overhated.

Esto es a lo que no nos referimos cuando hablamos de un remake

i actually liked this one a lot more than i expected i would based on what others have said about it, i genuinely had a lot of fun. i cant help but feel like part of why i enjoyed re3r so much is because i haven't played the original yet, but i'll see about that soon enough. i feel like my main complaint is that it takes a bit for jill to get endearing and nemesis becomes a lot less interesting as the game goes on, but even then he at the very least stays my favorite creature design in the series throughout the game. i felt like the length of the game was fine but i'm the type to prefer games to be shorter so i'm not too surprised that it wasn't as big of an issue for me as some other people. i also feel like resident evil has a bit of problem of dragging on after a certain point but i didnt experience that much if at all with 3 just because of how short it is

Such a short story. Totally could of been longer

Pretty fun time! I didn't enjoy it as much as REmake 2 but it was still cool to see a RE Engine Jill :3

Not the best by critics, but I liked it enough

Just as good as the RE2 Remake but way shorter. I clocked in at just over 4 hours and that was exploring every possible spot. A very solid if more linear game with the same zombie leg crippling gameplay and no mr.x following you around randomly. Nemesis shows up but only in specific spots where you don't feel like you're wasting ammo trying to stun him as much thanks to the gun parts.

8/10

Kinda hard to go back to this after playing shit like RE4 remake but I mean I still had a good time, if a bit too short on substance.

Playing this right after REmake 2 will give you enough whiplash to make your neck crack. Gone is using the grenades as one-time escape tools to avoid some damage, zombies now can turn 180 degrees from lying down on the floor and bite you, the game feels so much cheaper and so much easier at the same time. Nemies can be downed with a single grenade which is a sick fucking joke. But don't mind him, you won't be seeing him much at all anyway. Did I mention that the game is 6 FUCKING HOURS LONG??? Or the fact that there are no Mercenaries? The single most iconic bonus game mode in gaming?

A decadência...
