What can I say?

Best gacha mobile game. FCKING EVER.

You start with this single cat unit you deploy on the battle field, and fight dogs. Then there's some lil dudes and eventually more animals and more enemies, you get more cat units and theyre all so f
cking cool and strange like holy sht one of the "basic" units is a fcking titan cat and one is a damn fish.

Then around 6 chapters onwards and you kill god. Standard JRPG sht right there, I love it so much.

The game doesn't really have a proper story but it doesn't matter to me that much, it makes the game ever more batsh
t insane to play and look at which is just in the end funnier. But don't come expecting a chill time about a game where a empire of cats kill other animals for territory and conquer whole fcking countries, then planets, and other cool lands and challenges.

NO. This is maybe one of the hardest games I've ever found myself to play. Not only hardest, LONGEST. You will get addicted to this game, and you will sell your soul to it.

There are some bullsh
t levels later in the game, you optimally need all of the "cat treasures" from each of the 9 campaign chapters, and you must roll the gacha if you want to get anywhere. However getting units for free from the gacha is not that time-consuming, you can get rare tickets every now and then, or use cat food which you can also get for free for clearing stages (stages consist of multiple levels), or buy if you're a p2w scum (nope, totally never done that myself).

You have rare, super rare, uber super rare, and then the legend rare cat units. You can clear a lot of the game's first parts with just the free basic cat units, as well as the special units that you can get for free, some of which you can buy for catfood, along with rare cats and a few super rare cats. Uber super rares get useful, especially in the late-late-late game, but "Uber carrying" is not really needed if you have good strategies.

But trust me, the game can be unforgiving. There's a lot of grinding every now and then, but in the end I would call it one of my favorite games, and the best mobile and gacha game I know of.

Gatos esquistos versus o mundo

The worst thing about this game is the save file management (you better never delete the game or lose your phone), apart from that this is probably the best gacha game I have ever played... because the game uses a fixed seed which you can use to predict your rolls. Even if you don't cheat the gacha, the gameplay is pretty fun. The game is offline single-player which is rare to see on mobile.

Looks like a cheap, generic, low quality 3d mobile game, but it actually has some effort put into it!
It's pretty fun, but let's be real; the only reason anyone would play this is to get the rewards for the battle cats maingame. I know I dipped immediately after getting everything.

Typical auto runner mobile game
You'll only play this to get cat food in battle cats

Amazing. Breathtaking. Better than SMT4. Better than all Megaten. Absolutely perfect game. Skyrim robbed this of GOTY, and this game deserves vengeance and recognition.

Tunic

2022

My friend said he was going to buy me Balan Wonderworld but hit me with this instead, so if it's a trick or a pleasant surprise that's for you to decide.

Tunic has some really interesting ideas that, should you dare go for completion, will really demand you work your brain for it. I think the Instruction Manual is a brilliant concept that cutely made and several times as I flipped through it I thought "damn, they're probably selling this for money they'd make a killing". I got the standard ending because eventually the demand for guessing what you input at the secret input spots for so many puzzles got too much for me (I likely would have been more interested had I known earlier, but I only found out near the end of the game). Mid-Late game collecting the keys and the dungeon after was where it peaked for me, unraveling more of the world as I explore and clear dungeons, now that's my kinda game.

I also think the bosses are pretty fun, the Librarian getting a special shoutout. Some bosses like the final boss and Scavanger Boss can get stuck in a loop trying to dodge as they're against the wall which lets you combo a good amount before they get unstuck. Combat is all around solid although not knowing what items did kept me from experimenting with a few of them.

If you have a giga brain (or a cheater but that goes against the spirit of the game) you'll enjoy the puzzles, if you have an average brain like me I think going for the standard ending is sufficient enough, even if the endings felt a little simple. Better than Balan most likely as I can see me genuinely recommending this to some people.

Three out of five of the top five reviews for this game mention vore in some major way, and that should tell you just how good this game is.

Worst game ive played for the DS. I dont know how I had the patience to beat it

Making a functional turn based game isn't that hard so I have no clue how the devs of this game managed to mess up the genre this bad. Like oh my RNG all they had to do was the bare minimum and it'd still be better than this. This isn't even one of those overexaguration moments where someone rates an RPG low cause bad story , basic gameplay, or one odd mechanic, no, this is the real deal "how did they actually mess this game up so bad" kinda situation. I can not recommend playing unless you have a desire to be both bored and frustrated at bad game design every second.
