Have replayed this game a few times since it came out in 2010, it still absolutely rules, Barry is still best character.

Disappointing. A visual novel with tactics combat sounded like something I could get behind, but the writing is not great which lends to my having no care of any of the characters (Agumon is maybe the only exception), the translation is jank, the tactics combat is painfully slow unless you hold down a button to speed it up which also sucks, and its just drags on, it should have been maybe half the length it actually is. Got to chapter 9 and just couldn't bring myself to force it any more. It really sucks because it has the ingredients to be amazing but falls way way short of delivering.

An incredible experience marred only by some unclear signposting and some highly irritating stealth and combat sections. Absolutely worth pushing through to see the conclusion.

Strikingly visually distinct puzzle game that tells you nothing and isn't interested in explaining. Stick with it for a fun schmeat surprise :)

Very cool setting, totally get why people would be into this, absolutely not for me.

You do loop the loop in hot wheel car except big like real car, its good :)

Decided to try this out as I really dug the originals style, the movement in the original once you get the hang of it feels great and the same can be said of Catalyst, however it doesn't really do anything that the original didn't, the addition of the grappling hook is cool albeit sparsely used, and as others have mentioned here the combat leaves a lot to be desired. Mirrors Edge Catalyst is "fine" and if you liked the original you will probably get a kick out of this too, but ultimately an unremarkable game.

After trying and failing to complete the original arcade Donkey Kong in order to beat the game (why) I realised I didn't care anymore and gave up. The only one of Rares collect-a-thon games that remains in my catalogue unfinished with little desire to return to it.

The moment when you realise you've been playing with another real person is really really cool.

Played with a friend, his reaction to the ending was "oh.."

i will never play it again.

Incredible game.

Main game was a serviceable GTA clone, multiplayer was addictive

Beat this game on insane difficulty with a friend we both hated the experience but have been friends now for 15 years so who can say who the real winner is.

Lots of cool ideas and really fantastic dungeons bogged down by a slow start and unreliable controls.
