Atomic Heart was one of the games that I was really looking forward to, but it did not really meet my expectations. After finishing it, I can say that this game is a huge WASTE OF POTENTIAL. If I start with the good parts, the visuals and lighting are really good, the game is at a decent level in terms of combat, the weapons and variety are also quite sufficient, and the puzzles are just as good. As for the downsides, the game shouldn't have been open world. Probably the only parts I enjoyed in the game were the indoor spaces, and assuming that more than half of the game takes place indoors anyway, it's a shame that they didn't waste the potential in better places instead of adding an open world to this game that is empty and overflowing with unnecessary enemies. As for the story, we are simply trying to investigate the mystery behind the robots going crazy and the secret projects of the government in a dystopian world where the Soviets are a global superpower. The story presentation is really bad, so instead of reading tons of voice recordings and paragraphs of text that you can find in the game, why don't you try to explain it with a simpler visual presentation or core information that is "really important" in the game? Even after finishing the game, I didn't understand what was happening and was left with tons of questions and confusion in my head. In conclusion, Atomic Heart is probably one of the games that should be played through Gamepass. It is neither very good nor very bad, it is a game that has ruined its potential even though it could have been very good. I hope that if we see this series again in the future, the developers will take the criticism into consideration.

It is a very difficult game to play nowadays. So, if you have the chance, I recommend you to play the remake version (And yes, this is the enhanced version of the game, but I don't understand how enhanced it is)

So I can say that it is a nice retrowave driving game. It has a single vehicle and a mechanic where you have to balance your speed to keep your lover alive on a map that changes from time to time. However, this game is one of those games that is generally purchased for its achievements on Steam and is generally never played. As for the achievement, you need to play for 90 minutes to get the full achievement and I don't think my eyes can handle looking at neon lights for 90 minutes :P But if you want to give yourself to the roads with the music and enjoy the ride for a bit, you can try it. (But if you want to do this, I can recommend Retrowave instead)

Japanese indie horror games aren't the kind of games I play much. I gave this genre a try with The Convenience Store and it was a pretty decent experience. Convenience Store, which has a well-thought-out horror story, is about the experiences of a college girl who works the night shift at a convenience store with a dirty past. In the game, which we started with simple daily tasks, we try to unravel a mystery with the strange events that occur day by day. Even though it offered a short experience and limited gameplay, it was a sufficient experience in terms of horror. If you are interested in indie horror games, you can check out The Convenience Store.

In this short visual novel game made by Astrophysics, a YouTube channel I like, we find ourselves in an unknown place, meet Sasha, the only person around, and get lost in thoughts with some hard-to-answer questions such as some existential troubles related to life, their place and time, and the meaning of life. It was such a thought-provoking production. And of course, the game's most successful work is its music. The dark, hand-drawn art design, which uses only certain colors, fits the depressive and pessimistic atmosphere of the game. If you're looking for a short and thought-provoking visual novel experience, Hope Left Me may be a good experience for you.

Just the road, the music and you. If you want to sit and relax for a while, you can find it at an affordable price and try it.

Coffee Talk 2 offers an experience that is as cozy, relaxing and enjoyable as the first game. We see many of the characters we are familiar with from the first game in the second game and once again witness the stories they went through and the developments in their lives after years passed. The newly added characters to the story also have very nice stories. The game is basically the same in terms of gameplay, only as the name of the game suggests, there are 2 new tea types named hibiscus and blue butterfly and brand new tea combinations that we can make with these teas. There is also a new system where we have to return or forward some dropped or forwarded items to the correct customers. It was added as an important detail in order to complete some hidden parts of the story and the stories of the characters. Although it does not promise much innovation in terms of gameplay, since the game is a visual novel game, the gameplay is usually the last thing I look at. In terms of game music, it also contains many new, relaxing songs. I expected to see some of the characters much more, and I can say that I was a little disappointed in this regard. Without going into spoilers, it was sad to see that a very important character from the first game was seen very little, and after all these years, I saw almost nothing about the character whose story I was most curious about. But in any case, seeing some characters have happy endings and some characters setting off on new journeys made me leave the game satisfied. The game very successfully allows the player to connect with the characters, it is impossible not to get emotional at some points. As for the conclusion, Coffee Talk 2 is as good as the first game, longer in terms of gameplay and with much more recipes and stories, it definitely provides a satisfying experience. If you played the first game and like visual novel games, I definitely recommend you try the second game.

Jusant, which stands out especially with its atmosphere, music and art design, was released at the end of 2023 and became one of the best indies of this year for me. The game, consisting of a total of 6 chapters, offers a sufficient playing time. Mechanically, it is one of the games that should be played especially with a controller because it has a very enjoyable climbing mechanic where we use the trigger buttons as grip. In particular, many sections where we use the rope a lot, have lots of hanging or climbing parts, and special mechanics for some sections (such as jumping according to the speed of the wind, growing plants with a special energy and rising by holding on to their branches, using insects walking on the wall as a means of holding on) offer different gameplay types and make the game boring. It saves you from getting into trouble. As for the conclusion, Jusant offers a short and enjoyable experience with its wonderful atmosphere, fascinating art design, very nice music and enjoyable gameplay mechanics. If you have a Gamepass subscription, it is available now (11.11.2023). If you like indies that stand out with their art design, I definitely recommend you to try it.

Continuation of the episode "Signal". As in the Signal episode, there is a gameplay based on shedding light on the words and turning them into reality, and this gameplay has parts that are used more creatively than the Signal episode, and thus, this was the episode I had the most fun with in the combat. In the story part, it ends the game by leaving question marks in the mind and does not explain many things to the player, but it still clarifies some things you were wondering about at the end of the main game. If you do not want to leave the story of the game unfinished, I recommend you play this additional episode, which has a gameplay time of 1 hour, after the "Signal" episode.

Some levels have been made much more creative and fun than the main game. But why was there a need to do these sections separately? Yes, the main game ends as if it was left unfinished, and these so-called "extra" chapters are the ones that need to be played. "Signal" is the first part you have to play after the main game, and unlike the main game, there are some creative gameplay mechanics where you shed light on some words and turn them into reality. Even though this is at the end of the main story, it does not appear integrated into the gameplay. In this regard, there were parts that I enjoyed more than the main story, especially in the combat parts. I recommend you play this episode, which has a gameplay time of approximately 1 hour, if you do not want to leave the story unfinished.

I remember playing the original version and quitting halfway through. When I bought the Remastered version cheaply with a coupon from Epic Games, I decided to give it a chance again. With the release of the second game, I started playing the Remastered version and tried to really like the game. I must admit that the game is a successful game, but in many ways the game manages to make you hate itself. First of all, there are certain graphical problems in the Remastered version, especially on AMD processors. Even though it only happened to me in a few episodes and before the cutscenes, it was an annoying situation that spoiled the atmosphere. Of course, since this is only a problem with the PC port, it can be ignored. As for the game itself, it has some really gripping parts and its story is intriguing. But the way the game presents the story... This is where the problem begins. The game is full of plot-twists so many times, that after a while I started to not even understand what was or wasn't a plot-twist. Many of the characters are uninteresting and made me sigh at every dialogue while playing the game. The game could have been explained much more simply and had a shorter gameplay time, but in this way it feels longer than it should be. One reason for this is, of course, the extremely monotonous gameplay. Although the game offers you many different light sources as weapons in the later stages, this does not change the gameplay mechanics much. The game is simply a combination of shine light - dodge - attack and you do this for 6-9 hours. There were many times when I just ran to the checkpoint instead of fighting the enemies. Especially some bad level and game designs cannot be ignored. In some parts, the game gives you a semi-open world experience by giving you vehicles, but these parts would be fine without them. Coming to the positive aspects, as I mentioned above, the story of the game is gripping and divided into chapters like a series, thus creating the feeling of watching a horror series, and I liked it quite a bit. Even though the gameplay part was monotonous, I found it partially entertaining. Especially places such as vehicle headlights and beacons are good factors that diversify the gameplay. As for the remastered version, I can say that the appearance of Alan Wake has changed slightly, and the quality of the cutscenes and in-game lighting has been increased. As for the conclusion, even though the reasons why I got bored of Alan Wake when I first played it forced me to quit again, I do not regret playing it to the end this time. Especially in the later parts of the story, more different sections (except the forest) compared to the first part and more light sources and weapons that diversified the gameplay saved the game from being boring. But because of the problems I mentioned above, Alan Wake is not a game I will play over and over again. If you like Horror/Thriller - Action style games, I can recommend Alan Wake for its story, but how much you understand this story is entirely up to you.

The atmosphere and art design are nice, but there are some shortcomings in the gameplay part. I didn't have the opportunity to play it enough, but the combat could have been a little better. The clunkiness in character animations is a bit annoying. But overall, it is one of the games that can be tried from GamePass. If you like the genre, you can give it a try.

A very relaxing and pleasant experience. Coffee Talk is a nice visual-novel game in which we witness the stories of the customers and touch their lives in a small way with the coffees we prepare. In the game where we determine the end of the game with the recipes we prepare correctly, we listen to the stories of the customers and witness the connections formed between these customers. My complaint is that if we were more involved in the story, it would be better if it was a more comprehensive game where we could reach more different endings. But still, the story is quite nice as it is. If you like visual-novel style games and want to relax a bit and enjoy the music and cafe atmosphere, I suggest you give Coffee Talk a try.

One of the best games in the Survival Horror genre. As a heavy Silent Hill fan, there are plenty of inspirations from the series. If I were to make an analogy, I could call Signalis the sci-fi version of Silent Hill. There are plenty of references, from storytelling to gameplay mechanics, even to Silent Hill 2's classic reactionary red save menu. The game offers a very frightening experience with its reactionary atmosphere and successful sound design. If you like the survival horror genre, this is definitely a game you should try.

A mixture of extraordinary chaos and fun when played with many friends. TMNT: Shredder's Revenge is a very enjoyable beat'em up game consisting of 16 short episodes. If you have a group of friends to play with, it's definitely an experience you should try.
