2022 Gaming Ranked

A list of games that were released in 2022 (ports to other platforms count) ranked based on how much I liked them.

This list is objective and cannot be argued.

Max Payne's Pro Skater
The Blockbuster First-Party Exclusive for the Holidays
Bandersnatch but Epic
this is now the second time that EA has released the best thing they've put out in years and not marketed it at all.

It's on sight for you lot
I don't know how I am continually shocked by the last half hour of Kirby games repeatedly even though I already know the score but my jaw was on the floor once the final level began and did not leave until the very end
We need to go back to the days where level or character themes had lyrics.
Sonic found dead in Miami
Serj Tankian going DADADADA is my religion
3D Mario but about immigration and the worlds response to the pandemic instead of Italians
no hitscanners

10/10
This game is the equivalent of surprisingly well written Bloodborne Fan Fiction and I mean that with 100 percent sincerity
It's another western horror about Catholic Guilt but I promise the rest is really good
Almost makes it worth paying for Nintendo's garbage online
1 star removed for having Neil Druckmann in it
A lot of people for years to come will call this game "revolutionary" or "influential" without a hint of irony much like BOTW.

Much like BOTW it doesn't really do anything especially "new", it's just a really good one of these types of games
I can finally dress as a cowboy again
Make the sequel more like God Hand for the PS2
fiction where the main character just has a grumpy guy in his head is slowly becoming one of my favourite genres
There is an inverse scale between how good it feels to shoot a gun in a Borderlands game and how unbearable the dialogue is
very realistic, you could tell because the in-universe supernatural podcast hosts were annoying as hell
I'd like to say I'd developed a distinguished pallette for comedy since I played this originally in 2013 but I actually cried laughing at a parody of early YouTube windows movie maker videos so what does that say about me?
Reddit Presents Dusk
There are like 50 final fantasy games in development right now, all catering to a different fan and there were still people out there with the gall to get super pissed off at this one specifically because it looked like this lol
Live a Live and Let a Let Die a Die
I never actually saw The Rise Of Skywalker, I went to see Cats instead.

I think I hate Stat Wars
I dropped this game like 10 hours in because it quickly became an incredibly boring experience that squanders its main gimmick by making every form feel exactly the same

So I guess Nobody really did save the world
They finally cracked the code of how to make a decent Pokémon game and the answer was to just make a different game.

The problem is the parts that are still a Pokémon game
Cosmic Heterosexuality
