Great story that wraps up nicely if you read Perfect Works. It does get complicated and confusing at times.

Likeable characters, each having their own backstory and motives. Antagonists aren't left in the dark.

Great visuals for a PS1 game. I can imagine how stunning they were back in its days, but it still manages to hold up well today.

Great soundtrack, as expected of Yasunori Mitsuda. Each track really sets the mood, although it would've been nice to have more tracks.

Sadly, the repetitive gameplay is probably the weakest aspect. While it does have some cool ideas, they get boring very quickly and, in the end, amounts to using the strongest combos and seeing the same animations over and over.

It's a good game.
