DOOM is an intense game with the bloody atmosphere, hellish creature design, and intense gore, but where DOOM really shines through is the combat. The combat is fluid with the large amounts of weapons and upgrades, and the reliance on movement. If you don't move around in DOOM you will not win, movement is such a key game mechanic that works really well for the most part. the epic feel of the game is also in a large part due to the banging soundtrack of heavy metal. Other than that a few gripes I have with the game are the story which I just wasn't very into, I liked the main villain, but they didn't explain the character enough, and some points just feel like they are just hurling enemies at you just to stretch out the games length. Still nonetheless a great experience that makes me want to play DOOM Eternal soon.

Got about 8 hours in and just got tired of it.
It just feels like downgraded version of RE4 with a less interesting story. The save system in this game is dumb as hell, there are moments that are unnecessarily aggravating, and just downright stupid stuff. I wanted to finish it because I sunk so much time into, but I just couldn't which sucks because it follows one of my favorite games of all time

I was too scared to beat this game for the longest time, but I finally finished it, and God it is such a rewarding game. It's easily the most horrifying RE game and the story is captivating, which is mostly due to the characters of the Baker family. The Baker family are such a great choice for villains.
