Genuinely a perfect video game, even after all of these years it blows my mind.
The campaign is the perfect finale to the trilogy, wrapping everything up and with even further refined gameplay and set pieces.
The multiplayer is the best in the franchise, with impeccable map design, armor customization, and weapons balance.
Forge still stands out as one of the coolest inclusions in a console game for its time. A fully customizable level and game mode editor brought so much to the game.
Its been 17 years and I'm still impressed every single time I pop this one in.

Absolute fever dream of a gaming experience. Extremely fun but completely incoherent from a storytelling perspective. I kind of just gave up on trying to follow it and just enjoyed the good gameplay. The final boss wasn't awful but it certainly wasn't great. I really think Doom as a franchise feels complete after this I can not think of anything else they could do with this series.

Quite possibly the most fun first person shooter ever created. Doom Eternal has an incredibly deep and engaging combat system. Naysayers complain that the ammo reserves are too shallow, and that you run out of stock too quickly, but this is all meticulously designed and curated in service of its combat loop. Weaving in and out of demons, swapping weapons, using your chainsaw to refill, blood punch and grenades to get health back, you enter a state of zen when you play this game, it all starts to click and you really feel unstoppable once you master what this game has to offer. The level design is even more engaging and fun than its 2016 predecessor, with more verticality and platforming, and more deviously hidden secrets to find.
The only criticism I have of this excellent title is that the story is kind of really weird? When the game starts it feels like a lot happened between 2016 and this game, and its really confusing. This game feels like the third entry in a trilogy, leaving you really lost as to what the hell is going on.
Definitely going to be seen as one of the defining titles of this decade when it's all said and done.

After years of hearing how this game was bad, how this game was a disappointment, I finally bit the bullet, bought a Series X, and played the game. My thoughts?
I kind of loved it?
It's not perfect and it's got a lot wrong. The story is extremely confusing and told poorly, and the environments have no variety art wise, but god damn if this game isn't fun as all hell. The gunplay has been polished to the best its ever been in the franchise. Greatly improving upon 4 and 5's lackluster gunplay and balance, Infinite marches to the beat of its own drum. Not quite Bungie Halo, but not quite old 343 Halo either, the gameplay is extremely fresh, exciting, and fun.
This applies to the multiplayer as well, again being one of the best the franchise has seen in a LONG time. I'd say its my second favorite multiplayer experience behind the legendary Halo 3.
All in all, I really enjoyed my time with this one. The campaign could have used a little bit of a rewrite story wise, and I would have LOVED some other biomes to explore on the Halo ring, like the snowy peaks, swamps, and deserts we saw in past games. In the end, I can't complain, I finally got to play a Halo game that made me feel something again.
Welcome back Chief.

I love this game so much.
I will always love this game so much.
Even if this game disappoints me I will love it so much.
I struggle to find words to say about this game because everything has already been said. No other game sucks me in and deletes my free time like Minecraft. The atmosphere and immaculate sound design and musical score are unmatched. Every single sound, every single click of the menu, every hauntingly beautiful song that creeps in when you least expect it, it's all iconic. For a game that people like to claim, "Has no content,", it has a remarkable amount of things to do and goals to set and accomplish. Does Minecraft have issues? Yeah, every game does, but no other game makes me feel like Minecraft does.

This is my first experience with an Animal Crossing game, and I'm absolutely in love so far. Such a relaxing experience, oozing with character and charm. The gameplay loop is so unbelievably simple but it is perfect for short little daily bursts. Its a journal in video game form. I'm not done, and I'm gonna be keeping up with this for the foreseeable future, so I just wanted to get this out there and say I love this game so much.
Honestly my preferred way to play Minecraft at this point. It really takes you back to a simpler time where Minecraft was mysterious and awe-inspiring. Unbelievably relaxing and a pleasure to play compared to the state of the modern game. Once you play this you'll really understand how drastic the design philosophy has shifted over the years, and while I enjoy the new game, it really is a totally different experience now. I'm thankful I can get that old vibe back with BTA.
