one of the most fun games i've played this year and it's just an ultra early demo

if we're only talking about pure monster collecting gameplay this bad boy is almost perfect, but in general it's dragged down by the story where the highlights are basically whenever the DQ4 party appears, the presentation that is on the same level as pokémon sv, and the season based exploration that is cute at first but soon becomes pretty annoying when you're trying to scout a particular monster that you need to make a cool rank s main game villain monster. Still it's a pretty good game, wish they kept the monster riding from joker 3 though

I think i beat this game? at least the steam achievement popped up, but it really didn't feel like it. Fun little game, get it on a sale

this game is for when the doctor says you only have six hours left to live and you still wanna watch hokuto no ken. in truth my rating should've been a 3/5 because 90% of the game is endless cutscenes but the animations, the textures, the recreated opening, the fact that they got the original voice cast back including the narrator, i don't know, it just makes me like it a lot more. the only reason i didn't finish it is because i was getting tired of fast forwarding through the cutscenes, i felt bad about it because you can see the effort that was put into them but i kind of don't know japanese and there's no english patch out there so yeah

i haven't seen anyone else do this analogy yet, so here it is: this game is to pikmin 2 what elden ring is to dark souls 2.

here are the reviews for our latest game: Game Dev Tycoon
Electric Gaming - 8/10: I really enjoyed it!
National Games Grid - 6/10: The in game time is just too fast.

yada yada yada you get it. overall, pretty fun little game to get on a sale, though it is one of those games that are more fun to watch than to play

WAIT HOLY SHIT IT'S YUGIOH

going into this game with no expectations, specially after the disaster that is scarlet and violet helped me like it, not a lot, but i like it. the story really sucked though, specially when compared to sun and moon's, the villain stuff was ultra rushed and the final four gyms come at you at breakneck speed. tons of opportunities to build up Leon as this powerful cool trainer at the end of the road by showing us him in action were totally wasted because "you kids should go to the next town, let me and sonia handle this" and then you'd see some npc talking about the cool stuff Leon did and you didn't see, no cinematic, no double battle with him as your partner, nothing. Hop's a real one though, he's the only thing keeping me from giving this a 3.5, he's the most realistic character ever put in a nintendo game.

this game made me get in "the zone" more times than any game in recent memory. fucking sick.

i miss my motorcycle and shitty but charming open world, i miss them a lot

after years of thinking i wouldn't like this game because of the time limit and the pikmin management, both of which being explained by me being a dumb kid back when i first played this game on the wii, i am glad to say that i get it, i finally get it

not a perfect score only because i think world tour could've used a bit more substance and pc optimization, also the in game currencies suck, but if we're just counting the main 1v1 gameplay yeah no this game is top 2 material from my experience with the series

boy i sure do love me some genocide

i played through the entire game on expert, so no auto-fade or highlighting, here's what i have to say. play it until the "thanks for playing" level, the rest is pure pain, it's not worth it unless you're into cbt in puzzle form. hour long levels, lines and lines of 1 2 2 1 2 2 1- ah fuck i put an extra square there and it messed up everything there goes 49 minutes of my life. then there's the couple of puzzles with actual dead ends, even with the highlight option turned on.
still, big recommendation if you're a picross maniac
