It's a fine beat-em-up but your choices really don't matter, despite that being the primary focus of the game. I go back to it every so often, but it's not something I'd consider the greatest ever made.

From what I remember it's just an average racing game, except now it's monster trucks. Meh.

I watched a playthrough of this game before picking it up. I played a bit of it on my laptop before it died and I just really fucking love the characters and themes in this game. I can't wait to get another PS2 someday so I can properly go through the Max Social Links experience. Thanks BigKlingy for that experience.

The gameplay is phenomenal but there's no story to give it substance. I do love beating the shit out of my own soldiers though, truly the training of a lifetime. Also pet wolf dogs are fucking cool.

This game is halfbaked, like a sandwich I got from Panera one time. I wish there was just more to do other than kidnap Cubans.

First Metal Gear game I actually played, and my favorite. The characters are all incredibly charming and relatively well writen, the gameplay is near flawless, and you can shoot people in the testicles. C'mon, haven't you ever wanted to be a complete sadistic psychopath and shoot someone in the balls.

I played a bit of 2, I think it's better than 1 by default. I need to finish it though before I make a complete statement.

The story is really interesting, the gameplay is kind of mediocre especially with the boss fights. Vulcan Raven was a really great encounter though, also fuck Metal Gear Rex.

Fun to play with friends, also incredibly chaotic.

I like the part where there's Yoshi.
