what a bizarre ending lol

very much in line with other daedalic click em ups, in terms of gameplay, although much more open in terms of approach, due to how you're kinda just in the same area the whole time, but...

something about the story just didn't grab me? if i had to take a stab at what it is, it's that the writing felt very childish the whole time... which, i mean, it was about kids, but i also just played beacon pines, which was about kids, but the writing in that one felt very mature, because it was not made FOR kids, or at least not JUST for kids, but this one, i dunno, the dialogue and all just didn't click, even tho the actual plot was a fairly dark one, in a way i think most kids would NOT enjoy

except for cool four swords Punished Marquis de Hoto, what a wild design for a game about "magicians" lol

anyway, it was... fine as an overall package, but the moment to moment writing just fell flat for me, c'est la vie
