Actually complete on launch

Loved the story, hated the dated and clunky shooter gameplay. To this day there really hasn't been any other major game that tackles modern warfare with all its atrocities. Even with the clunky third person cover shooting, I still whole heartedly recommend this for that narrative alone.

Peak of the series, genuinely perfect

Great hack with a ton of good levels, but verges on frustrating towards the end. Enjoyed the 2.0 version I played that had quicker death animations and infinite lives.

Combat still fun but definitely less fun than 2 despite added complexity. Worth a full playthrough if you like the series, but the story falls short

Best of the trilogy

Great but I hate the cheap one hit kill QTEs. Very pronounced lack of enemy variety that gets amended in later titles in the series

Goated

Skip story cutscenes and the combat is fun (albeit simpler than earlier entries)

would give a zero if possible. Gun button the game
