A fantastic game overall, and as far as indie monster taming games go this one is pretty high up there in terms of uniqueness and overall fun. It honestly would have been a 10/10 game for me if not for the ending. However my personal feelings aside, It's still a really great game I'd highly recommend for people wanting to try something a bit different compared to the normal pokemon formula.

Although the switch version is a bit buggy still. So ideally play it on another platform if you're able.

Really good 3d platformer. Cute main character. Not much else for me to say honestly. I enjoyed every second playing this.

Have some mixed feelings about this one. Although I enjoyed it overall, certain parts of my time playing really stood out or felt not that great. Like how backloaded the game is with its side quests. Some of which felt like they could've been cutscenes as part of the main story or some which were glorified fetch quests that didn't need to exist at all. The crafting and upgrading system feeling tacked on, and not that important as you just get free upgrades via progressing the story, making most of the materials you get throughout defeating non major boss enemies feel worthless. The stories odd pacing, as well as the ending which in my opinion felt very unsatisfying.

I could go on.. but again my time with this game wasn't all bad? Despite my gripes I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy myself. The combat was fun, and the eikon fights throughout the game were some of the most epic videogame set pieces I ever experienced. I'd honestly say the game is worth trying for its combat and those moments alone, but who knows, perhaps you might try it and end up enjoying the story more than I did?

A great game, with a great story that unfortunately falls a bit short because of repetition, due to the kind of story it's trying to tell where several events are taking place around the same time frame. Even so, I highly recommend playing this, picking it up when it's on sale and taking your time with it.

I wish I had got around to this game sooner. It being the sequel to my favorite ds game and all, but better late than never. It improved a lot of what made the previous game unique and great, the new cast is just as memorable as the old in my opinion. My only gripe if you can even call it one was that certain tracks didn't make a return, but I'd say overall this game is fantastic. I only wish Square made even a smidgen of effort in advertising this when it had initially released.

The peak of old gen Monster Hunter in my eyes. Underwater combat complaints are a skill issue.

This game has a bad rep because of some endgame monsters having over the top attacks and aoes lates into the mmos life, but outside of that small portion of the monster roster its no different than your average old gen monhun. It's like an expanded Freedom.

I don't consider myself a big metroidvania fan, but I do like rougelikes. This was okay.

The metroid of Kirby games. Surprisingly short if you know where to go. Not to mention the map being kind of hard to understand means you'll more than likely end up going in circles, until you look up a guide of some kind.

An Improvement to Colosseum in some areas, especially the variety of pokemon you can catch, however I feel it falls just a bit short everywhere else. Another small gripe of mine that may be a bit inconsequential to other is XD's main character. He's just not as cool. Still a good game though! I only wish we got more games in this region, but that'll likely never happen.

This game will always hold a place in my heart for it's unique take on a single player pokemon rpg. Having a limited pool of mons to use, and most importantly having to wrestle them away from your opponents in battle is a really unique way of expanding you're roster. On top of that the difficulty is just right, and in most cases you wont just steamroll the games bosses your first time through.

A couple of annoying levels here or there but overall a decent game, and a classic.

Story wise, It's just star wars. Gambit system is cool though, and the world is like a pseudo mmo. I like that with enough time and effort with the gambit system you can have the ai automate most inconvenient situations in fights, like party members getting ailements, dying etc.

One of the best Monster Hunter games. This and Monster Hunter Rise are a good entry point for newcomers.

Peak Vanillaware, their best game in my eyes.
