If the Music was half as good as the other lesser megaman game soundtracks it would be a 5
The overall combat and style of the game is extremely good. The story is also super engaging and stands out really strong a prequel game.
My issues is that the castle you transverse through is insanely boring compared to DMC1 castle outside of a very select few sections. The enemies and boss design seem really hit and miss; mostly miss. There;s of course really good boss fights like Nevan,Beowulf,Vergil(All versions) but some of the others feel like a waste of time or just super tedious to fight.
The progression system of styles is fucking awful a complete chore and that is a such determent to the game to me
