Overall an amazing experience marred by some questionable game design choices and piss poor main story in the final third. This is by no means a 'definitive' Dragons Dogma game, which is somewhat of a disappointment.

This game did not age gracefully, not helped by the fact that so many games have come along since and built on the experience.

As a side note this game is the loudest most obnoxious shit I have ever played. As iconic as some of the sounds bytes are (WELCOME TO THE CIRCUS OF VALUEEE) the vast majority of this game is just a wall of noise. Honestly like nails on a chalk board for me - I’m sure the awful compression the remaster has didn’t help either.

Cannot believe I slept on this absolute banger.

I'll never emotionally recover from this.

Some crazy moon logic to some of the trials, but other than that a very enjoyable VN with some genuinely funny writing. The music slaps too.

This game is an utter triumph. A shining definition of everything that a video game can be when delivered by a passionate, driven and talented team. Although there are a handful of quirks keeping it from utter perfection, it's about as close as a game of this scale can get. One of the richest and most rewarding games ever made.

What Neon Genesis Evangelion and Silent Hill does to a mfer

Wonderful, depressing, immersive and truly one-of-a-kind. An absolute pleasure to play.

The voices in my head getting real cocky since I started playing this shit.

Motherfuckers cancelled my Timesplitters 4.

Exceptional bag fumbling performance from Respawn.

Girlfriend loves to bust this out when she's feeling particularly evil.

Perfect if you love to suffer.
