Might I recommend trying if you can; Panzer Dragoon Saga, Breath of Fire IV, Shadow Hearts, Trails in the Sky and Grandia?

If you haven't played them already.

Oh absolutely, I will look into Panzer Dragoon Saga, I do have a few Trails games and plan to start that series soon in the proper order. Breath of Fire and Shadow Hearts are definitely on my list and I just actually purchased Grandia from the PSN store and downloaded it to my PS3.
