Phenomenal new entry to the series and it deeply saddens me to know we might not get a sequel for a VERY long time. This released at a time where I wasn't in a rush to play every game under the sun that was releasing immediately, and that makes the regret of not playing sooner even stronger.

My only true "complaint" for the game, aside from some minor visual bugs and audio glitches that would occur occasionally (that were easily fixed with a simple checkpoint restart) was the enemy variety was a bit lackluster. Paired with some phenomenal visuals, the soundtrack is nothing short of amazing, even to the point that I would sit on the PS5 app screen just to listen to the preview music on numerous occasions.

Kit and Rivet are great additions to the cast and it makes me hope that any sequel we do get, focuses on them for a change. I think if I did play this on release it would have been my GOTY.

This game feels like filler. Short and underwhelming compared to the first game which felt so much more triumphant. The gameplay is really clunky and feels more repetitive. Level design also feels uninspired and bland and the ending of the games also feel pretty lukewarm? Also many of the boss fights long overstay their welcome.

The only good points I can attribute to this game is that the mystery of SK being a clone or not was pretty interesting (although it doesn't really go anywhere) and the voice acting was really well done.

Tekken possibly at it's best. Fighting games haven't been this back in a while. So much fun to play and too much good to say about it. The music is also fucking incredible, the Yakushima stage theme might be one of the greatest fighting game themes I've ever heard.

I also didn't expect to enjoy the story mode so much but I will say that True Devil Kaz got really fucking annoying to deal with for a bit longer than I would've preferred.

Hidden gem game with an interesting characters, cute CAC options, colorful design and very challenging levels. The music is also really good and fits the overall aesthetic of the game. Dialogue is also really well thought out and actually managed to get some laughs out of me.

While it has a lot going for it, I feel like the required hours needed to fully complete the game is a pretty insane jump compared to just finishing it casually which speaks levels on the game's difficulty. At times it can get frustrating to get full completion on the level and often made me feel like things were getting repetitive too quickly. I would almost go as far as saying that the game takes an unnecessary amount of time to complete.

Also important to mention is some jumps at check points are barely doable considering that the amount of momentum needed to make the jump isn't enough and sometimes require you to restart the entire level, defeating the point of the checkpoint.

Better with mods, but lots of fun with friends and feels alot more immersive than I initially expected. Not very new player friendly unless you have someone guiding you through the game for the first few hours of play but also easy to get the hang of as it goes

I wish I played this sooner. Very swag, waiting to play Ada dlc but broke

Revived FGC and just like SFV, I wish I got into this series so much sooner before these games player base died

This game started off so rough but I strongly believe it earned its redemption over time. Its so much fun to play these days, I sincerely wish I got into it while it was still very active and it didnt take me 30mins to find a round that could possibly have really bad connection

I love facing cosmic horrors entirely beyond my comprehension with my friends

This is a really rough port man. Not only did we get the very vanilla arcade ports and not the best editions for each game, meaning that we're missing SO much content that was added onto other versions of the game, but fighting the CPU on arcade mode feels like you're fighting pro players each time. Even if the difficulty is set to the lowest setting, whatever satanic programming went into the AI for the single player is so unfair to play against and becomes so quickly frustrating to deal with that the only fun to be had with these ports is the ability to play with friends.

I'll give props though, this does make the entire series more accessible for people who don't know how to emulate with a PC. The bonus art, character profiles and seeing how the series evolves by trial and error with each game is definitely some dope stuff to keep in mind and track.

We peaked at SF here. I think the only way to add onto it would've been to bring back characters from past games instead of only having Ryu, Ken, Akuma and Chun-Li (as much as I love so many of the newer additions to the roster)

I need wtv the hell the capcom sound team was on when creating the OST for this game because it's absolutely incredible and pairs so well with the visual aesthetic for this game. It truly does feel like its set in a far future era from other SF games and exists in its own bubble. Does so many things right and gave us EVO moment 37. Gameplay is phenomenal and at it's apex here in my opinion and surprisingly Gil isn't so fucking annoying to deal with this time around.

Roster increase is nice and the character models are pretty cool. They resemble ps1 3d models but with a cell shading effect which makes for a really nice aesthetic. Prelude to the GOAT

Also fuck Gil

Was very surprised by how small the roster was for this one initially. I know its a staple for SF games to build up the roster through ports but somehow I wasn't expecting it to be this tiny. It's nice to see how they build up from here.

Also fuck Gil.
