This game is fantastic and the profession is great. An excellent improvement over the first game. There is a few bullshit bosses later in the game. I made the mistake of starting the game when I had to go away from it for a week, and I was just unable to get back into it. Unfortunate bc this game is truly great.

A game that didn’t grip me right away. But I may go back to again in the future because it’s easy to play and simple fun.

This is the original but better. The subgames are all great. The epilogue is great too. And Mecha is a banger fucking ability. It’s a healthy dose of nostalgia

This game broke me in all of the right ways

This game means so much to me. It’s truly a beautiful experience. Play it with a close friend, sibling, or SO. I played it with my twin and it’s truly a binding experience.

Found for $15 at Half Price Books. Played all summer. Banger

This game is drenched in charm. I had a smile on my face the entire time. Play it.

I’ve spent years and replays trying to pinpoint how this game makes me feel. This game makes me feel mortal. I don’t how to elaborate on that… that’s just how it makes me feel

My game was scratched and after chapter 8 stopped working so I replayed form last save (3 chapters ago) didn’t work. Played whole game again. Still didn’t work. Played on a friends PlayStation and finally got to finished the game. Loved every minute (including the constant replaying).

The game is great. I also did the Wounds of Eventide DLC (I started it by accident and just exploring). I would say there is definitely a difficulty spike towards the end game bosses and the game can be very obtuse when acquiring the relics. The NPC quest are really just fetch quests that you come back to later once you find the item somewhere else, and I mostly just forgot about some of them and probably missed a cool item or two. But those is are small in contrast to the rest of the game. The game is drowning in atmosphere and combat is amazingly fluid. The dash slash feels great to use. The rosary system is fun to play around with and I found myself changing them around all the time to fit my needs. The system with upgrading the flasks was a really clever idea too. The earlier areas feel a bit too easy compared to how it spikes after the first half. And the progression layout with the fight 3 bosses, and then fight 3 more felt a bit lazy and couldn’t been more complex. The game does really shine in its exploration, lots of branching paths with cool items and shortcuts. The teleporting didn’t kinda make the interconnectedness fall apart and each area just felt like it’s own separate world, but the structure made it that way too, but I already mentioned that. If you like Dark Souls, I couldn’t recommend it enough. It not as metriodvania than it is adventure, but it works well with the world and story its trying to tell.
