‣ Final notes: Straight up I’m going to say it – this game has potential to be my new number one in terms of favorite games maybe even number one franchise if the others are as good as this one. I had so much fun with this game. Yakuza has so much side content packed in it that even after being 70%-80% done with the game I still encountered new game mechanics and side activities that can take up more than 10 hours to be fully completed. There are SO MANY MINI-GAMES that I swear I could play for hours if they had mobile version. You can dance/gamble/sing/go bowling the list just keeps going. The story is great, some might say it’s predictable or classic mafia bullshit, but I loved it the characters are great the voice acting is great. The only slight problems I had with this gem is the combat being a little bit outdated in terms of controls, many times I had to readjust my position because bulky Kiryu is a slow beast. The movement had also some aged problems but nothing to problematic. Overall great game and hugely underrated I wish more people found out about this diamond in the rough.

‣ Final notes: WWZ is a decent zombie shooter, horde survival game that tries to replicate aspects from games like left 4 dead with hordes of zombies and special infected. It can be quite enjoyable with a couple of friends, but if you are thinking of playing this game solo don’t bother because it has nothing to offer for those who seek a good story or fun objectives. All this game does good is give you enough targets to shoot but that’s about it. The story is basically non-existent the characters are boring and frankly they change to quick. After finishing the game, I still knew 0 character names or their background. The objectives get repetitive and there is a small variety of them. Overall, the only way you can enjoy this game is with a friend or two.

‣ Final notes: First of all I liked this game just as much as Yakuza 0, but it is not better in fact it’s worse. Let’s talk about a few differences first. There are significantly fewer mini games to enjoy in the game for no real reason. Because if they can copy paste story elements, surely, they can copy past some mini games, right? What I mean is in Yakuza 0 you have a defenseless woman that you must protect, she gets kidnapped a few times you rescue her and then there’s a big shootout in the highway ending in an epic battle with rockets. Turns out the woman is very important for the future of the yakuza clans, and everyone is fighting for her for personal gain. Same happens here except the woman is now a little defenseless girl. I’m not saying the story is the same, because most of it is way different, but what had to be a battle against brothers became a mini story in the bigger plot. The real story of Yakuza Kiwami is here - Kiryu go help out a shit ton of different families then we will introduce the master mind in the end of the game, and you beat his ass ok oh wait btw here’s the brother you never really met in the game fight him while you’re at it. I’m happy that the game brought back a lot of characters from yakuza 0 but why bring them in just to kill them all? The reason why I’m being so negative is because I really liked yakuza 0 and seeing such a downgrade in all the aspects of the game really saddened me that’s all I still enjoyed the game and if you are a fan of what happened in yakuza 0 you absolutely must play this one. I could rant about the combat being unfair due to all the stagger and move spam the enemy does or why the fuck did Kiryu reject the position of a chairman and basically said fuck you to his dead foster father, but I will stop here.

‣ 8/10 – This one finally hit me in the feelings.
‣ Game Audio / Soundtrack - 10/10
‣ Graphics – 8/10
‣ Atmosphere – 10/10
‣ Main Story / Characters – 7/10
‣ Side Activities / Exploration – 8/10

‣ Ragdolls / Physics – 4/10
‣ Movement – 8/10
‣ Voice acting – 10/10
‣ Combat – 7/10
‣ Final notes: Took my time with this one, but that just gave this game more emotional connection. The leap in graphics and the new engine gave this game the freshness it needed. I’m going to say it right now Kiwami 2 is definitely way better then 1, the characters are more fleshed out, the villains are way more impactful. And all the story problems Kiwami 1 had were dealt with to perfection. But with new ideas come new problems, I think this game had way too many plot twists and in fact some illogical plot holes. The combat took a new approach, and I don’t think I liked it. It is fun to watch but does not feel as fleshed out as the one in Yakuza 0. Overall, this game might be better than 0 but is not. The story is definitely very strong and good, but overall Yakuza 0 just had more fun mechanics and characters.

‣ 4/10 – I feel sad that this game is not what I remembered.
‣ Game Audio / Soundtrack - 7/10
‣ Graphics – 3/10
‣ Atmosphere – 5/10
‣ Main Story / Characters – 1/10
‣ Side Activities / Exploration – 0/10
‣ AI – 8/10
‣ Ragdolls / Physics – 5/10
‣ Movement – 5/10
‣ Voice acting – 5/10
‣ Combat – 4/10
‣ Final notes: Too dated at this point to be enjoyed at full pace. At first, I wanted to re visit this game for pure nostalgia but now I understand how bad this game is. You have little control over anything in here, the main games campaign has a huge leap in difficulty, and you don’t even get a fair tutorial that would prepare you for this. The story is garbage and very old fashion theatre, the voice acting is poor, and the game mechanics just don’t work. I cannot recommend this game.

‣ 7/10 – LC got destroyed mate.

‣ AI – 8/10
‣ Ragdolls / Physics – 8/10
‣ Movement – 7/10
‣ Voice acting – 7/10
‣ Combat – 7/10
‣ Final notes: I think the game developers had some sort of a fetish for LC getting absolutely destroyed, I mean the sheer number of times she gets slammed to the ground is insane. How does anyone survive so many falls is beyond human comprehension. I think Lara Croft is a tank not a woman. Overall Tomb Raider is a good game and I’d consider this to be the first game you should play if you are planning to play all the others. It has a great balance between climbing, exploring and fighting. The characters felt underdeveloped and of course the ones that die are the ones that were the best. I feel like the first few running episodes were good but then it just gets repeated and recycled. The combat is good enough to keep you engaged. Overall if you like Uncharted games or brainless climbing and just want to enjoy an explosive game then you should definitely try this one.

‣ Final notes: Doom Eternal takes everything that made Doom 2016 good and enhances it ten times. The combat is more fleshed out, the enemies are more aggressive and have more tools at their disposal just as you do. The movement is greatly improved and doom guy himself is way more agile than before. You can never stop moving in this game or you will get your ass beaten to the ground. This game is just pure chaos and makes you feel like you are in a war and a rock concert at the same fucking time. At first the game feels slow and a lot like doom 2016 but once you unlock all those new tools the game becomes ten times better. New enemy types are great, the way they lose chunks of meat as you shoot them is satisfying as fuck. Also, the game is very pretty and the world design is amazing, all the places you visit are always different and unique. Story also got way more attention but not enough to matter or be interesting, but that’s just my personal opinion. Overall Doom Eternal is amazing and if you liked doom 2016 why are you avoiding this game you dumbass!

‣ DLC – 8/10
‣ Final notes: So, I have decided to replay this game and see if it is still as good as I remember. And what do you know it is. Mostly I decided to replay this game because of the new expansions to the story. All in all, they are good, they give you a glance of what happens after the main game ends and gives you more background to the characters that were with you from the start. Throughout the whole game you can see how much care was put into the characters and what they think. There is plenty of dialogue to listen and I loved how much every single character had to say to you. The only complaint I still have for this game is the combat and the movement. The AI you face is laughable and very stupid. The combat itself is nothing impressive and can get clunky. Same clunkyness can be applied to movement it just felt off. Everything else in the game is good or great. The voice acting for the most part was okay, the graphics were stunning, and the atmosphere was great. There was plenty of variety in terrain and the locations were great. All in all, Metro Exodus is a great semi-open world shooter with a very strong story and characters, a great soundtrack and stunning visuals. If you like exploration shooting games, try it.

‣ Combat – 7/10
‣ Final notes: After finishing this game I feel very conflicted. I went into this game blind, without any expectations or possible spoilers in mind, however I really disliked the story. Not only did it feel out of order, but killing Joel so early was a huge mistake. Being forced to play as the villain of the story felt horrible and I was on the verge of quitting this shit of a game. I mean you are forced to play as Abby so much I felt like the story was hers and not Ellies. Maybe if the order was different with the flashbacks this could have been a great game. Now setting aside the story I did enjoy everything else that the game had to offer. The combat is fun and brutal. Even though the AI sucks balls when you start shooting it was still pretty enjoyable. Now on the other hand this game does little to improve any of the game mechanics used in the first part. The overall combat is still simple and there was only one time where it tried something new and I won’t lie it worked. Exploration is satisfying and rewarding. There is definitely more freedom given to the player and more ways to approach a situation, however it is still linear. Overall this game is not for everyone and it might upset a huge amount of fans.

‣ Final notes: What a great fighting game, although the story is short and the other half of it is locked under a 50 dollar expansion I still really enjoyed it from start to finish. Great characters, strong and impactful story moments, great cinematics and perfect voice acting just makes this a great game. The fighting is smooth and beautiful to look at. Even the slightest combo can make your jaw drop. Everything is great I really enjoyed this game. It does a great job at reviving older, fun characters without looking too cliché. Overall, a great fighting game that you should definitely try.

‣ Final notes: Darkwood is a great, creepy and mysterious indie game. It has a great dark and unbelievable world and story. Great and enjoyable characters, easy but hard to master combat, fun inventory management and very enjoyable scavenging mechanics. Every night in this game is a desperate fight for survival, you are always forced to think what is the best action to take against the rising problems. The clock is always ticking forcing you to be as efficient in exploration as you can be. Loot is always useful and you must make hard decisions what you should keep and discard. There is always something happening and slowly but surely you unravel the mystery of the woods and how you ended up in them. To finish this game offers a great variety of horrifying monsters to fight and locations to explore. If you like survival games you must absolutely try Darkwood.

‣ Final notes: A fantastic telltale game with a great and mysterious story. Deep characters with important roles and many hidden motivations. This is probably the only telltale game where your actions actually have meaningful outcomes. I really liked the idea of children fairy tales living in the dark and unfair world we all live in right now, doing generic 9 to 7 jobs and dealing with death and famine. Overall a great game with a mysterious murders story.

‣ Final notes: After finishing this game I can say that I enjoyed it quite a lot, however it has way more flaws then RE2. To start the story is very basic and repeats a lot of what happens in RE2. You have a huge monster chasing you and you must defeat it more the 5 times through the game. The boss fights keep getting repetitive and the awkward new dodging system makes it boring and hard. The characters have little development, and, in the end, I cared little about their fates. The campaign itself is about twice as short as RE2’s and there is almost 0 replay ability. I also noticed bad lip synch not only in the cutscenes but also in-game. But with all that said I still enjoyed the core gameplay. The new quality of life improvements are nice and fun to utilize. The inventory management is as enjoyable as it was in RE2, the combat is still fun even though it’s awkward at times. What RE3 nails is the atmosphere the graphics and the amazing optimization. Overall, it’s hard to say if this game should have the price tag it has right now but if you want to continue the story then definitely play this game.

The story is also really good, the characters are very enjoyable and overall, it is quite lengthy. Sure, there are some glitches and problems, but this version is way better than the recent remaster of the game. If you never played this game, but like RTS type games then what are you doing?

‣ Final notes: Fall guys was silently released and quickly gained a ton of popularity and for a good reason. It is really enjoyable and both frustrating. The idea of putting 60 players and forcing them to compete for a crown is a great way of mixing up the battle royal genre. If you have a couple of friends, then you will definitely enjoy this game. It has plenty of unique course tracks that force you to always mix up the way you play. Granted it can get annoying and unfair at times but it’s part of the game. Overall Fall guys is a very unique game and deserves the popularity it got this year.
