Another Pokemon game, equally as disappointing as all other entries. the core mechanics that have been there since the 90's are of course still fun. But these mechanics have not been changed or expanded upon, but it now costs £60 without DLC.

Textbook example of a well made, constantly surprising 2D Platformer. It's 4 player integration is better than games such as New Super Mario Bros, and it constantly adds something new, from the stealth to the scenery.

A fun party game, but Fall Guys can't manage to keep my interest as it's (admittedly very well made) design decision to have a claustrophobic skill ceiling but its lack of content takes away both of the draws of a replayable multiplayer game.

A great return to form, every new element in every level kept me transfixed. Sadly there are way to many nostalgia levels, especially for a game series that is 90% dependant upon it. No matter how good of a game designer Christian Whitehead is, I cannot play another Green Hill Zone.

Charming, funny, simple. worth a single playthrough but is a bit short.

I mean, it's Mario Kart. Of course it's brilliant

Despite being one of Nintendo's biggest hits, it still falls to the company's pitfall of releasing an unfinished game with terrible online support and praying that later updates will fill the game out. Unlike Splatoon, Mario Party, Mario Maker, and so many others it didn't even end up delivering on the promise.

The Greatest game i have ever played. without question. the only game to ever leave me with literally 0 major complaints. Breath of the Wild couldn't do it, Katana Zero couldn't do it. Hollow Knight is an unmissable experience.

Genuinely one of the best indie games I've ever played. definitely top 5.
The gameplay loop alone is addictive and refined, and draws obvious comparisons to Hotline Miami. Fast paced, single hit kills, and no down time.
the comedic timing adds to this, adding that much needed pause between the high octane moments.

Although I won't spoil the story, it is what sold this game for me. I cannot wait for the DLC, which is a sentence I don't believe I've ever said.
