Dig the artstyle, way too tedious and forces you to cheese the AI

The gameplay might be clunky, but SOUL is at maximum here. It feels like you're playing someone's D&D campaign and I'm all for it

A bad stealth game that not only retroactively makes Infinite worse, but the rest of the series somehow

An unfathomable upgrade to the original. Were it not for the Freezeman scenario, it would be a contender for the best in the series

I have a personal grudge against Sunshine. I could never beat this game as a kid. I did so much but the story would just never progress. Coming back all these years later I find out that you have to beat specific levels and not just get shine sprites, so most of the effort of little me was wasted the whole time. Die in a car crash, Super Mario Sunshine.

Still feels even better than Odyssey in terms of schmovement.

The looks I get when I say "Donkey Kong on the original Game Boy is one of the greatest games ever made"

Objectively the most well-designed ARTS (I'm not calling the genre MOBA, fuck off) on the market with a free to play model that actually lets you be a viable player without grinding or paying real money. Your mileage comes down purely to the people you play with and against.

A fantastic entry that is only becoming more relevant as time moves on. The only thing weighing it down it the Big Shell itself being the most sterile and lame setting in the series

Despite the lack of shmovement and level design that could be better, Galaxy is just a magical experience, and coming back after all these years hasn't changed that

A fun time if you goof with friends. Actually gets better after the first part if you can stomach it for that long

To be honest, I expected much worse out of the first entry given how much people bash it. The vast majority of it is just bland and tedious, and the Elecman scenario practically docks it another half-star by itself. Regardless, BN1 actually has some of my favorite enemies in the series.

It really is just more Pikmin, which will either make you elated or disappointed. Just goes to show how times have changed - in the current age of DLC, Pikmin 2 would have been seen as unacceptable as a standalone release.

Knowledge. Is. Power. And you will either succumb to the dark or become a god. It all comes down to your willingness to accept the pain and learn from it.

Has enough stellar sound design, creepy atmosphere, and intricate character building to remain a classic despite its age.

Peak horror atmosphere with an story that's pieced together in an interesting way. Unfortunately, all tension is lost if you figure out how the AI works
