This game was a lot of fun, even though the story was barely there lol. My biggest complaint was honestly the 2D levels; they really took the wind out of my sails. If I wanted to play a 2D Sonic game, I’d play a 2D Sonic game

When you get a quest called “More Than Words” towards the end of the game from a letter, do yourself a favor and do it.

One of the best games I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. Playing this right after 15, I was really able to see the differences (and similarities). Mainly, I felt so much more immersed in the world in this game. I felt connected to the sociopolitical issues through both main quests and side quests. Also, 16 is one of the only games I’ve ever played where the boss fights really felt genuinely important. Like, it felt like you were DOING something. So immersive, such great characters, such incredible boss fights, and such fun combat. All around a great time.

Loved this game more than I thought I would. What it sometimes lacks in mechanics or story, it makes up for with the overall vibe. I found the open world fun, and it goes without saying that the boys can’t be beat. And the music is obviously phenomenal (shoutout to Yoko 🫶🏻)

My main reasons for not giving 5 stars:
- The day/night cycle was more annoying than anything
- The boys’ skills didn’t contribute to anything really. Seemed like it was added just for… fluff I guess? (survival skill especially wack. Also, unnecessary to have fishing imo)
- not always having fast travel options on the regalia was taxing, especially when trying to clean up side quests

An easy plat game, what else can you expect?

An absolutely wonderful refresh on the 2D Mario series 🥹

Very fun, and I can’t deny being stupidly biased towards the theming. Empress is an amazing antagonist. My biggest gripes with this DLC are that the empress fight isn’t anything more than the chase (it seemed anticlimactic) and the map is a bit hard to navigate at times. But genuinely lots of fun

One of the best 3D platformers I’ve ever played. The movement feels so unbelievably good and is far beyond what I’ve experienced in other games (even AAA ones). Fun, wholesome, and the right amount of quirky.

Hands down best wave so far. Maybe it’s bc they finally gave us a Tour track that isn’t bland and a new course 🤔

BOTW with extra steps (but less fun)

Finished just after midnight on 6/9 (nice). Tibarn is smokin’ and my savior against Ashnard (who really is just a cartoon villain). My biggest gripe narratively was that I felt like some things were anticlimactic (I.e. being able to run away from the Black Knight, nothing happening with the medallion when it was in Ashnerd’s possession, etc.). Taking all that with a grain of salt though, since I know the game was intended from the beginning to have a sequel. This game is more naturally progressive in some of its themes than half the games that actively try to be woke are now

Too many things not explained imo, and I wasn’t very into the story. In terms of gameplay features, walking is so damn slow and I hate that characters can literally talk over each other. Good voice acting tho

I was waiting for this game since the 2020 Game Awards and was not disappointed. Season immerses you into a unique world seamlessly, granting you a lovely balance of freedom and structure as you learn more about your surroundings. This game has so much heart; I haven’t felt this engaged with a game in quite a bit.

Also, I want to start a Polaroid scrapbook now.

Honestly really enjoyed this game, mainly due to the fact that it improved on everything from its predecessor. That’s always very refreshing to see! Also imo the platinum was a lot easier in this one than P4 Dancing All Night

The combat part at the end was completely unnecessary, tbh. I would’ve enjoyed this game a lot more if it had been less of a forced (and kinda cliche) narrative and had just been fun little puzzles with the genies. Would’ve given it a 2.5 were it not for those cute lil guys.

Forgot what it was like to play a finished Nintendo game after Pokémon violet.

Anyway. Really fun game. A bit on the easy side but I never mind that haha. My biggest gripes were levels not saving your progress after you’ve beaten them until you beat the whole thing again, and not being able to go back to areas in levels once you pass certain checkpoints.
