2022
This Splatoon outing was significantly more fun than the previous two. Less so because of the game itself and more because I have way more friends to play with this time. Lots of small improvements over the previous game, but it still suffers with minor issues that add up to be major, especially netcode. This game was not stable at launch, and probably was rushed even after the release date got pushed back. Most egregiously I experienced two crashes, which never happened in the first two games. It's better now, but random disconnects are still a thing
2018
This is just one of those games where it's not only insanely fun, I simply can't think of any noteworthy problems. The fact that the Switch port is actually stable is a huge plus too
Going for 100% completion made this game far too frustrating. As soon as I stopped caring about collectables, I could see why this was considered a classic platformer. Still not a big favorite of mine though

Incredibly fun and surprisingly deep baseball game, but it would be even more fun with normal controls
Last time I played this I rage quit in Turtle Rock after not bringing any green potions and lost my save data. I should give this game another chance

Pretty fun, but also incredibly mindless. I'll probably never play another game in this style again

A bit of a guilty pleasure game for me. Most of the criticism regarding the gameplay people have said over the years like the backtracking, huge levels, moves that exist only to hit switches, little interaction between kongs, poor implementation of minigames, and the massive number of collectables are valid. Despite that DK64 was charming and fun enough for me to 101% complete twice

Still haven't played the update, but at launch this game ran dry really quick

Very unique gameplay style and atmosphere, but I got bored with it. Puzzle games aren't my thing I guess

Very fun for a while, but loses a lot of steam when you learn that throwing is the answer to every problem
