If you want some recommendations I could give you some~
Since you liked Banjo-Kazooie, you'll probably like Jak and Daxter, same kind of game but in its own style.

Tetris Attack is by far my favorite puzzle game. Unfortunately only the Japanese version is on the Switch through the SNES app, and that version doesn't have the Yoshi characters. Still the VS. mode is so much fun no matter which version you play.

A Hat in Time is the best indie 3D platformer imo. Feels like it has some Mario Sunshine type structure in ways.

If you like Kingdom Hearts music, Melody of Memory is a really fun and easy to get into rhythm game. (And it's also the only Kingdom Hearts game that's not cloud stream only on Switch for some reason)

And to give another Nintendo game, maybe try Starfox

Jak and Daxter is the only one not on the Switch. It's on PS2, 3, 4, and 5 so if you ever get a Playstation platform that's a great place to start. But another favorite of mine to replace that one is Earthworm Jim 1 and 2. It can be a bit hard but you can change the difficulty in the options if you need to. The first game is on the SNES app and they put the 2nd game on the Sega Genesis app.
