Not sure why, but this didn't hook me. I think it probably just felt a little too tedious going down the building checklist and clearing out the mines.

Heard this was leaving Game Pass and I'd had it downloaded for quite a while without really digging into it. It sunk its teeth into me and I ripped through it in a day and a half. Wonderful style and music.

This both simplifies and complicates all of the systems that made Far Cry 3 and 4 great. The story and characters are set-ups for something interesting, but mostly fall flat.

A great game to listen to podcasts/watch other stuff on a second screen with, though!

I was surprised when I got to the end of this. It's a bit shorter than the others, but I loved every moment of it and nothing felt like filler. I get the feeling that there actually might be some interesting plot branches based on choices which makes it probably worth replaying.

Fantastic. Had a few annoying moments where the game had figments in weird places, but other than that... top notch. I loved the Gir reference.

Tried playing this when it came out and just recently. Never got farther than the waterfall area.

I get it, but I don't get it.

Played through Xbox Game Pass. I downloaded this expecting it to be pretty classic "run and shoot people". I wasn't expecting a sort of... Borderlands-light style gameplay. I ended up going mostly melee because it's fun to blast thing to little bits.

Dialogue is obnoxious, but I'll give them credit for "I just wanted to pet the bunnies, George" at the end. Also the ending is strangely abrupt? Also had some crashing issues.

Overall enjoyable enough, especially if it's "free" through game pass.

A pretty enjoyable story. For a game with big environmental puzzles it has an excruciating walk/run speed. It can take minutes just to walk from one place to another if you realize you might have missed a step in a puzzle. (admittedly I did just start looking at guides to get through the story)

2018

"Completed" means I hit the credits. Will continue playing for a while. Took about 55 hours of playing to get to that point.

On time I was drawing a huge Jim on the back of some worksheet in high school math class. My teacher came by and just stared at me. I looked at him and said, "This is Earthworm Jim..... he's in a super suit." The teacher walked away.

No I didn't do well in that class.

Not a GREAT game by any means. I didn't like it as a kid because it was hard as hell. It's interesting because it's a sort of horizontal shmup with four different characters that are controlled all at once. They each have a unique way of shooting and you can change their formation as you go through the level.

A very bad advergame. But, hey, the instruction manual has a coupon for Cheeto Paws!

Got this for like $3 at a Big Lots way back in 2007 and was pleasantly surprised by it. Hadn't even seen the movie at the time. I went to Blockbuster right after I finished the game and fixed that.

The Chameleon Twist games had a mechanic that I thought was cool as a kid, but have always been not so fun. Plus it was pain to control the tongue. (That last sentence is fun out of context.)
