So...

With this new remaster by Nightdive Studios coming out, I decided to give this weird game another chance. And I actually enjoyed it this time.

In my previous review, I mentioned that the game was boring because of some aspects. I'm happy to say this isn't quite the case anymore. The visuals received a big upgrade, making them more pleasing to the eyes. The enemies are much more aggressive and have new moves, and the game is harder overall, making it feel more engaging and interesting to play. The weapon and item wheels make it a lot easier to manage your equipment during the hardest moments, and there's also a new marker that shows you where to go to complete the next objective.

The rest, however, remains mostly the same. That leaves you with a game that may please some, but will also disappoint quite a few. Still, this remaster manages to make it a lot better than the original version. Good job, Nightdive.

alright I was wrong, it's pretty good

When people praise Morrowind, it's usually about the rich and alien world, complex nature of its story and lore, the freedom it gives to the player, the many political conflicts present in its setting that make it one the most unique of its time, heights that Bethesda never reached again.

However, I'd like to point some aspects of it that show how much attention to detail went into making it. For example, as I was exploring the West Gash region, I came across a cave and decided to explore it. Inside, I realized that it was pretty interesting, with underwater sections and even a hidden passage that led to a smugglers hideout. There was even a friendly NPC and a really rare in-game book about smugglers.

Then, I decided to search in a wiki if the place was related to any side quest, and it wasn't. It was just a random cave in the game that players could explore out of curiosity. Yet, it seemed like they carefully crafted it to look like a real place, a real cave used by smugglers as a hideout.

There are many other examples, like how the house of an NPC is organized in a way to reflect their field of work, social class or even personality. Just thought that was interesting.

Wow, id Software really did the impossible. They made a 90's shooter that I stopped playing not because it's hard or anything, but because of how boring it is. The visuals are boring, the guns are boring, the enemies are boring, the soundtrack is... not boring, but it loops in a weird way. I mean, if you have the soundtrack at all. Wanted to beat this because I like the first Quake, but I just can't.

2018

I refused to help my niece because I didn't want someone else in the house

Gonna eat a lot of cake tomorrow

2010

Not much to say about it, it's cool but Inside is better. Some of the puzzles are a bit weak in my opinion, but nothing really bad.

Damn, this one is... weird. Didn't play much, but for what I played, it feels like they didn't really undertand the appeal of the first two games, and it seemed pretty amateurish

Was planning on finishing it again, but the last few levels really suck... So I gave up.

Absolutely incredible at its best, but for me it begins to drop in quality around the 10th mission. Yes, I know people like Life of the Party, but the Angelwatch itself feels... really uninsteresting. And I don't mean in the sense of being too industrial, because that's accurate for the Mechanists, it just feels poor compared to the rest of the game so far. And from there it just gets worse.

Still, really good game with some incredible missions, great story and wordbuilding that makes it feel really real. Also Garrett is probably one of the best protagonists of any game honestly

Impressive game, but I thought it was a bit boring and repetitive. Gonna continue it later

Really underrated FPS. Don't see many people talking about it but it is genuinely really good and well done. Guns may feel kinda weak at first but it gets really satisfying after some time, specially with the different ways you can approach some enemies. There is stealth, it is not the most advanced one but still gets the job done, except at the first level of Mission 3. However, I thought the ending felt pretty rushed and dissapointing.

Overall a pretty solid shooter. I need to play other Wolfenstein games
