There are few games that truly capture the essence of what it means to be human. Chonka is one of them.

Super strong followup to the original. Builds on it very well. Dixie is very fun to play as with her hair propeller although it is a feature that makes her clearly much better than diddy. Each level feels distinct yet makes sense within the world. Overall a real achievement of platforming and should be played by anyone interested in the genre

Before this game landed on NSO I never imagined id love it as much as I did! Overall an honestly masterful game for something that came out all the way back in 1994. The graphics and music are stellar and the controls feel good. Difficulty is fair too

For an NES platformer this aged really well. It is when Kirby got his iconic copy ability allowing for some pretty nice gameplay. Controls are also pretty nice from what i remember

This one was tough to rate. It is puyo puyo's regular gameplay so it is perfectly fine but at the same time it lacks any real singleplayer content to really teach new players but again it is very cheap so i think id say buy this game if you like the puyo puyo gameplay already adn want a more concentrated, competitive experience

A really nice time! I think this rpg was one of the most pleasant i've played, the overall vibe and aura were lovely. The game is not that difficult (except for the final boss which is a bit of a spike) making it very accessible for even those not too into rpgs. Great music as well, my favourite song is 'rainy season wheat wind'. Worth a play for sure

Really good game, I liked the general flow of the gameplay how it didn't always tell you what to press unless something new came up. It could get cryptic at times but it was never too bad (Nintendo life has a very helpful guide if you get stuck). Story was really interesting and the twists were exciting, characters were neat especially Zenzou and Ayumi. Overall recommended, esp if it goes on sale

This game is alright. It isnt bad but not great either. The combat is fairly basic and the camera not being controllable is annoying at times. Certain fights too feel frustrating. Play if you are interested but if you do not enjoy it dont let it put you off from playing 3

An honest to god fantastically designed game. Great humour in the cutscenes and just great fun

This game is fascinating. While it can be said this game led to the 2D Mario games feeling homogenised and bland, this game was genuinely very fun and unique with a tonne of unique ideas and enemies, the platforming is very solid as well

My first DKC game and it captivated me as a child. Ridiculously fun and charming especially if you have a friend playing with you. Still looks good to this day

One of the best Pokemon games of all time. Is a great improvement on diamond and pearl. Sinnoh is a great region. Easily one of my fondest childhood games

One of the few examples of an NES game that has aged well, to this day it is a fun and solid title. The puzzle/rhythm dimension to the gameplay has not stopped being fun

This is an 'interesting' game. I am thankful for its existence as it did introduce me to SNK but the game itself isnt really that great. I do like the simplified inputs but aside from that the game is kind of boring especially since their is a real lack of singleplayer outside of the arcade mode. The photo mode was also pretty fun

Samurai Shodown is a strong first entry, once you learn the inputs it's fun to fight using this series unique style of fighting. The game does suffer from a high difficulty in single player so i do recommend turning the difficulty down
