Really so much potential for something deeper, a more involved simulation. A few rough edges and kinda uninspired level design also keeps it from being especially satisfying to explore.

I still enjoyed my time with it, but damn, I can vividly imagine a seriously great game here. I also confess to hoping there was anything at all to uncover, even another minor mechanic, and that hope propelled me through the different regions.

So there's a tinge of lingering disappointment.

Not a big fan of the writing, the voiced dialogue specifically. Don't regret playing it.

I had fun! Writing didn't hook me, though it wasn't uninteresting. Which is mostly why I've decided to stop after one ending. Maybe I'll come back someday, explore the stuff I missed. But maybe not.

It's a slim margin. I have more nostalgia for 3, but I think the fundamental platforming in World is better. Levels are kinda hit and miss, just like 3, and the cape is more than a little silly.

Still a great game.

The final map turned out to be both the longest and the one that had the most—conceptually—to say. I peaced out pretty quick.

Ultimately a strong jam. Some better than others, as happens, but I'm glad I played it.

Miles is lovely. Some really striking scenes in this, too. Feels constrained, occasionally, in much the same way 2018 did. Just the nature of being a Marvel product, I guess, and an extra bit of not entirely appealing spice that comes with fewer resources/less time. Can see some seams where the game deserved polish. But I liked it a lot, despite any misgivings.

Good. Outside of a few vignettes, the music, and the voice acting, it rarely hit me as hard as maybe it could've. But I enjoyed my time.

Easily my favorite of the bunch.

The first two episodes were fantastic. Comparatively underwhelmed by ep3, but it wasn't bad.

Already played a few of these maps (that's on me, obviously). Ultimately doesn't feel especially cohesive.

Not personally evocative, but looking forward to the next game.

Maybe not as poignant as when I finished it 8 years ago. Still fun to jump around. I have a real soft spot for first-person platforming.
