While not as ground breaking as it's sequel, still an important and excellent title from Rockstar's back catalogue.

Best entry in the series since the original. This is what Life is Strange 2 should have been like. So much more interesting and cool.

Finally a really great and innovative Pokemon game. This was the breath of fresh air that the series needed dearly. If they can make graphics that actually look like they are from the present year, and keep innovating on this great new gameplay formula, the future looks bright for Pokemon fans. Lots of fun, just some major issues on the graphical side that are inexcusable.

Great conversion of the classic game. While not my first time playing this game, this was my first time finishing it. Armature Studios did a great job making this feel like a built for VR title despite the fact that it was originally a GameCube game from 2005. Now we just need a proper remake and RE4 fans can die happy.

This game is incredibly solid and served for me as a great intro to a classic series. Tons of solid platforming, shooting, and of course upgrades to be had in this great game.

Stopped due to the constant crashes and bugs. Enjoyed the story so far, too many bugs to continue to enjoy.

Great game for two, the story is quickly engaging and exciting. The plot twist still has my head spinning two months later.

Miles Morales is a great showcase of the power of the PS5. I love this side story that somehow managed to add so much extra lore to the Insomniac Spider verse. The web swinging is more refined, but in nearly every other way this feels great just like the previous entry.

The first horror game to be spooky enough to be interesting, but not jump scare me so often that I lose interest. This is a great game, and I must play for 2021. My casual playthrough getting all the treasures and such took about 9 hours according to the game. Don't let that deter you though, this is some great cinematic story telling in an excellently realized world.

A Hat in Time is one of those few games that come out every once and a great while, and remind me how in our modern world of loot boxes and DLC, we can still have great complete games come out. Hat in Time not only exceeded my expectations, it built new ones for me to use in the future when judging new titles.

A Hat in Time is full of charm and all sorts of heart. This project was definitely a work of great passion from the devs, and for that I applaud them. Every level is bright, colorful, and unique, and the graphics and the wonderful music (props to composer) bring everything together to make this game a lovely jaunt.

The only thing involving Hat in Time that I didn't like is the length. I feel as if the game was so great that I almost wish the devs do DLC so I can enjoy the game for more time. They have said that there will be content updates as well, adding co-op play and more. I can't wait.

It's truly a shame that this game released so close to Super Mario Odyssey. If it had been released much earlier, it might have gotten the publicity and praise it deserves.

Thank you Gears for Breakfast for helping to bring 3D platformers back into the main stream. You folks did great work and I can't thank you enough.

Strong recommendation.

Where do I start with Boneworks. This game is by far the greatest example of what the future of VR can hold. While this game definitely requires a strong stomach and well established "VR Legs", if you can provide those requirements, what you will find is one of the most immersive and fun first person shooters I have personally ever experienced, especially for VR. This game goes toe to toe with Valve's far more popular Half Life: Alyx in my eyes. Both games provide a similar gameplay loop, while also offering far different interactivity and immersion. While I could sit here all day and compare the two, I should probably focus on Boneworks for this review.

Immersion: When talking about immersion in a VR game, most people are referring to how life like or believable the game appears. For me, Boneworks excels in using an inverse kinematics body to allow it's player to feel like they are there in such a way that no other game to date on the VR platform truly can. The heaviness of objects and way your simulated body interacts with the world feels so natural and real in most instances, near the later half of the game, I forgot I was even playing VR.

Story: This game has a minimal, but very mysterious and interesting story. From what I can tell, and without spoiling anything, the plot revolves around your character being trapped in a virtual city by some sort of virus that is not allowing the programmers to connect. It is up to you as the last person connected to the game, to reboot it from the inside. This game gets really meta.

Gameplay: This game treads across many classic Half Life style gameplay beats. Excellent FPS gameplay with physics based puzzle solving. The game also proves that not every FPS needs a shotgun. (Though, I would love to see one.) There are plenty of bonus modes and extra content to be found in the game as well, such as a Sandbox mode, Arena mode, and even a Zombies mode that is reminiscent of classic Black Ops Zombies.

Conclusion: If you are not prone to motion sickness, and are fairly comfortable with VR. You have to play this game. This game was literally my life for a month or so, and it needs to be yours too.

Thanks for coming to read my review about THPS 1+2, because I can't wait to tell you all about it. (hehe) This is a near perfect reimaging of the classic arcade skateboarding games from Neversoft. Vicarious Visions brought to the table what is hands down the best Tony Hawk experience that any long time fan such as myself could ask for. This game has brought me so much joy and excitement in my hours of playtime that I can't even begin to put it into words. The controls are exactly as they should be, and once you figure the game out, it's as natural as breathing. This is what a remake / remaster should be. Come shred through this wonderfully reimagined levels, listening to the near complete and amazing original soundtracks, as well as some new songs that are all mostly amazing. SHRED THE NAR! SKATE OR DIE!
