Yakuza 0 is the first Yakuza game I've played, and I had a good time. The writing was excellent, the characters were memorable, and it was a great game through and through.
Two complaints: One, I wish the gameplay had more depth. There wasn't much strategy other than just picking the right fighting style for the battle, and as long as you had a ton of healing items on you it was a essentially impossible to lose any of the fights. I understand that this series leans more towards story than gameplay, but it still felt disappointing for me.
Two: I wish there was more of a point to doing the side stories. After a few times getting a healing item or some mid-level equipment as a reward, they began to feel a bit superfluous to me.
Otherwise, the game was good. I enjoyed the ride and you probably will, too.

Pizza Tower is a very unique and charming experience. The gameplay is fun, fast, and gripping, the soundtrack shreds, and the artwork is somehow both intentionally awful and subtly stunning at the same time.
I feel like "spiritual successor" games are often lacking in the quality, creativity, and understanding of game design concepts that made the original as good as it was. Pizza Tower is a clear exception, and is non-stop excellent all the way through.
Just like Wario Land 4, however, the game is short. That's my only complaint. As long as you're OK with that, it's an easy recommendation from me for anyone who thinks they might enjoy it.
