This game... might be my current runner for my personal goty. It's a nearly flawless JRPG. It has my personal favorite soundtrack of the year, every character story is enticing, and I couldn't shut up about it as I was playing. I will say the voice acting may be hit or miss in some areas, but fantastic in others, but that hardly detracts any points from the game for me personally. I'm so glad Square decided to bring it to the west in HD-2D after all these years. We can only hope more Square gems are given the same treatment, because it would just be flat-out amazing. Buy this game.

I think getting to level 100 already warrants being marked as beaten. This has become my favorite kirby side-game. The amount of love that went into this one is phenomenal, there's so much content, from costumes of characters I didn't even think of from kirby history, music remixes from games like block ball I didn't even think to ever get remixed. The game's super fun, especially with friends, it reminds me of my time playing with friends in dream course. $15 is a steal for the amount of fun I had and time I spent with the game, well worth it!

At the end of the day, XC3 is the culmination of everything the franchise has been building up towards since the first game on wii back in 2010. 3 does a lot to incorporate everything the team has learned over the years. The battle system is sublime, and the QOL the team took to heart and learned a lot from 2. Characters for me personally were good, but I didn't necessarily feel the same connection I did to the ones in 2, or even 1 for that matter. The music was phenomenal, majority being the battle themes, but I didn't remember nearly as many city themes as I did in 2. Overall, I really enjoyed 3, phenomenal game, when it hits, it hits hard and I'm really expectant of the future dlc that may or may not move it up even further in my favorites. XC2 is still the one I have the most personal connection with and adore, but 3 can be considered a new standard in its own right. Xenoblade Chronicles is one of my favorite series, and if this is indeed the end of an arc, it ends on a high note.

(Played through Phantasy Reverie Series)
Klonoa 2... has become one of my favorite 2D/2.5D platformers after this remake. Where to start, for starters it has some of the best music in a 2d platformer I've ever heard, it's a bit more challenging than DTP. The characters are all lovable and even better than the first game and add even more personality. Klonoa himself has grown, which is the kind of development I love for sequels, as well. I wanna thank Bandai Namco for resurrecting this IP, to hopefully give it even more potential for a good future. Do it! I even platinumed it.

Played via Phantasy Reverie Series
Klonoa has been a series I've sadly missed as a kid on ps1 and ps2, so I've been really excited for the remaster the first game and the first re-release of 2. Door to Phantomile (game 1) actually feels like it has elements of 2d kirby with its platforming, which I really dig. The cute character designs are great, and the soundtrack is a bop, but knows when to get somber. If I were to put it in words, the story feels very dream-like (lol) so I think the sad points the story tries to convey is deserved as well. Very much looking forward to the 2nd game.

Another fantastic work by Kotaro Uchikoshi. The story of the original gripped me a tad more, but that's understandable given the bar that was set. I loved the new characters, the mysteries were very thought provoking, and there were some laugh out loud moments sprinkled in. I do personally wish there was a tad more of a connection to the first game, but that's just a minor grievance. Switch port ran pretty well this time compared to the first game going from memory, too. Highly reccomend this series in its entirety!

Sunbreak was a really good expansion. Definitely gonna be here for all the updates, but overall, Rise as a whole has topped MH4U to become my favorite monster hunter. Sunbreak added a lot of new additions to keep you coming back, and a lot of the new and returning monsters were a treat! I love this series so much, it's my favorite multiplayer experience and I can't wait to see where they take it next!

The wait was heckin worth it for the cuphead dlc. So much new animations, new music, and more. Length depends on your skill level, but I managed to beat it in about 2 1/2 hours. Lots of new vocal tracks, and all the new bosses were a treat. I'm really glad it was just bosses and not run-and-gun stages. Easily one of the best games I played this year.

The game is quality. What that means to some people may vary. It is an astoundingly well-developed game with a lot of fun to be had, especially playing with friends. The animations are top notch, there are various tactics you must use that are new to the series, and the game oozes personality. However, for whatever reasons there may be, there is not much in terms of content at launch which seems to be a regular thing with recent sports titles. It did not used to be like this. If we must endure a longer wait to see a fully packed mario sports game, then so be it. Even though those are gripes with the sports games as a whole, we got a new strikers game in 2022. It's very commendable of Nintendo to bring back a franchise like this. There's a lot of fun to be had, but either wait for the dlc or a good sale.

Shredders Revenge was an absolute delight from top to bottom. You can feel the passion the team behind this game has for the turtles. So many references I'm sure to have missed, as well. There is a lot of replay value in this one with lots to collect, and the animation and overall voice acting is such a treat to see and hear. The combat definitely ensures a lot of creativity and not just button mashing with a variety of moves at your disposal. Chalk this one up to one of the top of the line beat em ups worth all your attention in recent years.

Cute, short little puzzle game from HAL. Music's a banger, love the aesthetic and some of the puzzles are pretty tricky! Very dependent on physics using your claw to drop stuff at the right angle. Cute little references to Qbby too. Well worth the 8 bucks!

Gonna mark this as complete since I put a lot of time into it, got my rank pretty high, and had a lot of fun with each of the sports. Bowling is still my go-to but I really did spend a lot of time with soccer. Definitely coming back to it when the Golf update drops.

So happy this dualogy finally got localized stateside. TGAA2 is now my favorite Ace Attorney game. Everything from characters, story, music and more are all impeccable. I'm gonna remember these games for a long time.

I think this is my favorite Ace Attorney game now, and one of my all time favorite visual novels. I could go on and on about the characters, music, and amazingly well told story, but I ask, just play the dualogy. Both GAA games are one whole story and it's a disservice not to experience it. I can only hope future Ace Attorney games are anywhere near as good as this one. I'm so happy it got localized officially after years and years.

The original Luigi's mansion is one of my favorite games of all time. I know the game by heart and can run through it really quick. However I never played the 3ds port, and it adds some nice bonuses. Boss replays, achievements, and co-op. These are nice additions but the same core game at face value with good texture improvements, but at a lower resolution because 3DS. If the game came out just a bit later and hit the switch it would have been the definitive version. But that being said, it's still the original Luigi's mansion, a game I'll always love.
