Maybe I’m spoiled on language games by Heaven’s Vault - but I was disappointed here. The differences between the languages felt so superficial - only one has a structural alternative to Subject Verb Object, and it’s basically just Yoda speak.
Beneath the language was a fun but unexceptional adventure game with a strong sense of style. No problem with that! But I kept waiting for a late game twist that would make the languages more dynamic, more exciting, more intriguing. And that never comes.
