really fun childhood game but objectively pointless. was fun to play with my friends but poorly made overall

janky gamecube delight. played this with friends for weeks at a time, moving through playthroughs. was just the coolest game as a kid.

Playing now its still super fun as an adult! the combat feels really unique and still engaging today.

such a joy to play, really fun gameplay loop. Dungeons are kind of lame but the game has a really good nostaglic 2000's vibe to it that holds the weaknesses up.

Best Souls 2

Honestly my favorite dark souls. Best PVP, amazing high fantasy elements. Progression is actually less linear than DS1 depending on how you choose to move forward. Best NG system in any video game ever made. Best build variety.

Basically Elden Ring 1, but more replayable.

Has flaws like hitboxes and ADP but the pros outweigh the cons. DS1 is weak for over half of the game. DS3 is railroaded linearity and has little build variety and bad pvp "roll simulator."

Got over 200 hours in already. Picked the game up early this year. Played until Blighttown. I had actually entered through the exit and got stuck. I wasn't online so I didn't have messages to guide me. I quit for 3 months, which seems to be part of the dark souls experience. Came back and crushed the game. Currently going for plat, have several playthroughs.

"Flawed" masterpiece. One of the most, if not the most, important gaming experiences of my life. Changed my life and changed me. I am much more resilient and stoic, much calmer in storms.

One of my favorite games as a kid. I have only played this skiing game so my review may be skewed but I loved this game. Music changed my entire music taste, I played probably 100 hours. Really fun story mode and side modes. Cool characters. Gameplay was awesome.

Played on Gamecube

A wacky fun fighter to play solo as a kid. Boobas, Vordo, Link for some reason, etc

One of the most important games that I ever played. I beat this game from start to finish with my dad when I was 14. It was a crazy fun experience. He then divorced my mom (which is a good call overall for both of them) and this marked the last time I had both of my parents together, watching the last battle.

A triumph of video game art. Thank you, Kojima.

PEAK Kingdom Hearts. Beat it twice as a kid then watched my friend play through it. Got stuck on Sephiroth. Played Final Mix and it was amazing.

A shame KH3 was such a bad follow up to such a breakaway hit.

Really fun and full of whimsy. Has some dumb sections that clog the progression. Fun combat. Really good for the time when it released.

Peak kirby sidescrolling. Movement is a bit slow in the 64 system compared to the handhelds but this game slaps. Cool as hell to make a fire sword. Story is interesting to some degree and the worlds are varied.

Idk I love the depth of this game. Has so much going on. It is anarchy. Also hilarious and just a weird experience but a charming one. Like Banjo Kazooie on mescaline.

I love this game. The way you interact with the world is intuitive and really fun. Gameplay loop is addictive somehow. I feel like this game is better than it should be. Can feel a lot of passion in the development.

Lost my virginity to the title screen music. True story

Super fun. Great worlds, movement is fun. Sound design is incredible. A blast to play.
