This is a pretty fun little game, but it gets old.

Wanna start off by giving a brief story of my play through, I started with one crew and made it all the way to the end without ANYONE dying, the veterans of the war were tasked with the final mission of killing Hitler, and they did it. Unfortunately, on their way back home, the plane was shot down and they all died. They made it all the way through the entire campaign and even killed Hitler, only to be shot down at the very end. RIP

This game is basically just micro-managing a British bomber plane in WW2, and you go on little bombing missions and whatnot. It's simple yet fun and charming.

You can upgrade a ton of ship parts, a ton of your crews gear, etc. It's a fun game play loop of gaining more xp and money and further upgrading your plane and crew mates.

The real problem is when you've played this game too long, it just starts to drag on. You've seen all the mission types and stuff just gets repetitive. Like the second half of the game I was maxed out on all my equipment and was just trying to finish the game cause I was getting pretty damn bored. I always want games leaving me wanting more, but this game does the exact opposite. It overstays its welcome hard.

I haven't played the USAAF campaign as it's DLC and I haven't played the challenge mode, I also mostly ignored the secret weapons shit as it just wasn't fun, so this is just a review on the base game.

This is a game I'd definitely recommend as it's pretty damn fun, just don't expect to finish it unless you're committed and able to stomach some repetitiveness.

The game, is fun.

I was expecting more tbh, but what is here is mostly good.

Only 6 games, 3 of them are net based games, 2 of them are racket and net based games. So there's a pretty big lack of diversity of sports here.

Volleyball is cool and all but gets repetitive kinda fast for me personally. It's a welcome addition but I'm not interested in it much honestly.

Soccer is the most unique and interesting addition to this game I think. It's pretty fun though kicking it in the direction you want can be frustrating at times. Pretty fun one I think. There's also a special shoot-out mode where you use a leg strap, it kinda sucks and is just a little time waster, nothing more.

Bowling is bowling. Nothing more to say on this one, it's almost exactly the same as the Wii Sports one but the online mode is like an elimination style bowling game.

Tennis is my favorite gamemode, and it's the one I've played the most. It's very similar to the Wii Sports version but a smidgent more in-depth. It's pretty fun but similar to soccer, it can be a little frustrating to hit the ball in the direction you want at times. Badminton is super similar just a little more slower and less interesting I think. Also only 1v1 is possible in badminton.

Lastly, Chambara. Nintendo people are a bunch of pussies for not just making it sword fighting again. It's pretty fun though, very similar to the Wii Sports Resort sword fighting mode. There's three different types of swords you can use and that adds some depth. pretty good stuff.

I believe they plan on adding golf in an update, and I hope they continue to add more games, cause this game needs more content and diversity. Within one game session you can experience everything the game has to offer.

Onto the characters, they look lame. I refuse to use them and will only use the Mii characters. Mostly all cosmetics you unlock are only usable for the regular characters, and not the Mii characters. Very lame and bad decision. They should've just stuck with only Mii characters, idk why they made these other characters, they look so soulless.

The cosmetics are mostly mid from what I've seen, nothing really popping out. It gives you some motivation to keep playing but definitely not enough.

The graphics look nice but boring. Nothing aesthetically interesting anywhere. Just looks pretty average.

Lacking in content, lacking in sport diversity, lame and soulless aesthetics and characters, not Mii focused, lackluster cosmetics, no charm, and yet I give it a 3. I give it a 3 because the games that are here are just fun. Despite them getting old after a couple hours, they're pretty fun, and just as in-depth as the original Wii Sports games were. It also seems extremely vital that you play this game online to get more use out of it. I really wanted more from this but this is still a game that provided me with entertainment and fun, and most games really aren't that fun.

I recommend playing this game, but maybe not for 40 dollars. maybe wait for it to be a little cheaper.

Played on Jedi difficulty. I DID IT!!! I BEAT THE TRILOGY! MY GOD IT WAS SO DAMN HARD!

This is easily the best of the trilogy, the tightest combat, tightest platforming, best level design, best characters, best bosses, best variety, you name it, this game is the best at it.

This is definitely the easiest of the three Super Star Wars games, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The game is still very difficult, but it's difficult for the right reasons most of the time, whereas its predecessors were difficult cause of straight up bullshit. This game still has some bullshit but it's dialed down considerably.

You can play as jedi master Luke, Han, Chewbacca, bounter hunter Leia, slave Leia, rebel Leia, and Wicket the Ewok (lol). Luke is definitely the most fun character but some sections just straight up require you play as someone else to be able to beat them. Luke has a lot of force abilities and it generally is the same as Super Empire.

The bosses are far better than the first two because most of the bosses are ACTUALLY FROM THE FILMS! There are some random ass bosses but generally it's actually stuff from the movies.

There is a good chunk of variety in this game, the mode-7 is at its peak here. Though the speeder bike section sucks tbh. And the finale is quite possibly the hardest bit of all the games, it is insane, it put me in a trance to beat it. The amount of relief and accomplishment I felt when I got through it on my 1 millionth try was great.

The level design is much more thought-out and smart, though there were like two levels that just felt like a messy maze. Still, huge improvement from the first two games.

Seriously, the finale of this game is absolutely ridiculous. You have to beat Vader, beat the Emperor, then escape from the death star exploding, and that is insanely hard. It's a first person bit and my god man, it was just crazy.

If you want to play a Super Star Wars game or just a Star Wars platformer, this is easily the best pick. It's far more accessible than the last two yet brings a ton of challenge and excitement, it's actually fun and hard, whereas the last two were just annoying. I'd 100% recommend this game.

No way! It's Star Wars, but chess!

Idk how else to explain it but yeah it's chess themed Star Wars. The thing is between every move animations play, so imagine you move a piece in chess, you now have to sit there and watch the piece slowly walk over to where you placed it all while a little music bit plays, you will hear this same music bit every single time you move that piece.

So, it's really Star Wars themed chess but the pacing of the game is a million times longer because the animations are super slow.

Also like battle chess, every time a piece is taken out, an animation of the two pieces occur, they're pretty unique and cool animations, easily the best part of the game.

Long story short, this game is completely obsolete as why the hell would you ever play this over just regular chess. The novelty of it wears off almost immediately. The best way to enjoy this game is just watching the fighting animations on Youtube.

Played the Sega 32X version emulated. The arcade version isn't emulated well enough, but from what I've gathered it's the far superior version, so if it's ever fully emulated, play that one instead, it looks way more fluid and fun.

What a surprise! Another extremely difficult old Star Wars game! I swear it was an industry joke in the 80s and 90s to make every Star Wars game insanely hard. I'm gonna admit right here I didn't beat this game, it was honestly just too difficult for me, upon watching some playthroughs on Youtube it requires perfection and mastery of the game, and a lot of luck. I simply don't want to sink that kinda time into this.

The graphics are extremely impressive for 1994 on a home console, it's got a lot of style and scope to it. Really impressive graphically.

The sound is OK, I think base Genesis and SNES games have much more impressive sound than this.

The game is a little repetitive, you shoot a ton of tie fighters for awhile, then do trench runs, and that's really it. I believe there are trench runs on a star destroyer and both death stars. There's arcade mode and 32x mode, and the difference is just the levels, 32x mode is touted as longer and harder (lol)

Anyways, man this game is so hard. I mean seriously, it's really goddamn difficult. It's a fairly short game, one play through without failure is like 40-50 minutes, but holy shit it's so hard. A lot of the lasers are damn near impossible to dodge, you have to have lightning quick reaction time and know the placements of everything, you gotta shoot at stuff before they even appear, it's crazy. You can try to avoid the lasers and even if you do, you'll crash into a wall or some object.

I think this extreme difficulty can stem from the frame rate. The frame rate is simply too slow to react to what is coming up on the screen. Once your brain registers what's on screen it's too late.

This game has a lot of charm and stuff, but dude, it's just way too hard. Tell me get good and whatnot, but man, I'm not gonna suffer trying to beat this game for days on end.

Played on Steam, Which I believe used the DOS version

This game is straight up unplayable. Possibly the worst controlling game I've ever played.

I tried to play this game on a joystick then a mouse, and both it was just completely unplayable on. You cannot control where you're going half the time, the game is like constantly fighting you for control.

I tweaked some settings that were recommended on forums, but I cannot get this thing to even be playable. I'm sure if it actually give you controls, it'd be fun, but this just isn't playable. Maybe the 3DO version is, but I don't care.

I got past 3 levels, and the fourth one is just not possible with this aiming system. The lock on hardly even works. Don't waste your time here.

Actual hell to play

Beat this one on normal difficulty again, and oh my god it's so difficult. This is LEAGUES harder than the first Super Star Wars, an already difficult game.

This game isn't hard for the right reasons, it hard cause of jank and bullshit. You have to take a lot of leap of faiths, enemies throw stuff at you that is virtually impossible to avoid, the hitboxes on both platforms and enemies is super janky, the levels are just way too long, bosses have way too much health, and it feels like beating bosses is just strokes of luck, as sometimes you win the fight, and other times you lose the fight, despite doing the same thing on both attempts.

The Mode-7 Sections are probably the best parts of the game, specifically the Hoth battle, it's the most fun you will have playing this. Immediately after this section though, you get a 2D Hoth battle that really sucks.

The enemy spam and placement is seriously just a nightmare, it feels like the devs didn't playtest it at all. Even when you figure out how to progress and beat everything, it feels insanely tedious and annoying.

Same as first game, the graphics and audio are superb, but the actual game sucks. fucking 70% of the enemies and bosses in this game aren't even in the actual movie, it's stupid. There's a lot of filler levels and every level feels super long, this game feels way way longer than the first.

Luke having force abilities is cool though lol.

Despite improvements in mode-7 levels and in character abilities, the level design, enemies, and bosses make this game worse than the first one. It is flat out not fun to play. I will never replay this one lol.

Played on PC, at the time of writing this I haven't 100%'ed it but I've played almost 60 hours of it and I feel I'm ready to review it. I plan on 100%ing in the future.

Smoke and Mirrors.

This is an OK game, maybe even a good game. It's the most complete Star Wars game ever made. The most locations, characters, vehicles, and movies ever compiled into one Star Wars game.

I really didn't know how to rate and rank this game as it's extremely similar to the LEGO Star Wars games I grew up with and have bias to, and that means all the issues this game has, the old games also have. But I think it's less excusable here. 15 YEARS later, with like 4 or so years of development, all of the same issues prevalent in the original games are still here. TT games seems to have a poor design philosophy and doesn't think there's any problems with it. And this problem is that the LEGO games are ridiculously easy. The games treat you like an actual moron and holds your hand the entire way. I understand these games are meant for children, but poor game design cannot be excused just because "it's for kids." I was some dumb little kid and I played Star Wars Battlefront 2 all the time, it was engaging, fun, and exciting. I could fail and die and it was OK, the game was still easy enough for me to grasp it while having some challenge to keep me engaged, and the risk of death and failure made things actually exciting. While I still enjoyed the LEGO games, the combat is the weakest aspect of these games by far, and it's completely dull and un-engaging. There is no challenge at ANY TIME during combat, nor is there really any challenge in the entire game. There are ZERO consequences for dying, nothing happens if you die, not even a small checkpoint setback, just NOTHING. And this has been a thing in every LEGO game and I don't understand why they're still using this system, it's so boring. I don't understand why TT games think children brains don't function and can only do the bare minimum. If you can move around a camera, walk, and press a button to attack, this game will be absolutely no challenge to you, and I believe every child that plays video games can beat this game with little to no challenge, that also goes for the older games.

Even with the combos and flashy animations, it is completely braindead, you don't need to press anything other than the attack button, over and over, using combos and whatnot are pointless as you never need to. The AI is braindead and never challenges you at all, they all do the bare minimum. Boss fights are also braindead as they all do the same moves over and over and are ridiculously easy to avoid, not that you need to avoid them because again, there's no consequences for dying. Also for quick time events or any button mashing sections, there is zero consequences for failing them, in fact you literally cannot fail them. I found that was a constant theme of playing this game, is that the game literally doesn't allow you to fail. I recall trying to crash my ship in space and I rammed into rocks and big ships millions of times, and my ship simply couldn't get destroyed. You have to literally TRY to die if you want to die in this game.

Going into specifically boss fights, they just straight up weren't designed for Co-Op most of the time. While player 1 is Luke fighting Vader on Bespin player 2 is R2-D2 and does nothing. While player 1 is Obi-Wan fighting General Grievous, player 2 plays as Cody and just does nothing. While player 1 is Obi-Wan fighting Anakin, player 2 plays as C3PO and R2-D2 and does nothing but chores. Meanwhile in the original game The players get to play as Obi-Wan and Anakin, and actually fight each other at the end of the level. it's awesome. You actually do get to fight your Co-Op partner in The Luke Vs Vader battle on Death Star II, but it's very underdeveloped and a tad buggy, and it's impossible for the player playing as Vader to win the fight, despite this it was the most fun boss fight in the game.

The ship combat in this game is terrible btw. it's so boring and void of any engagement it feels like a chore. Easily some of the worst content of the entire game. The vehicle levels in the old games were actually more fun simply because they were more challenging and entertaining. The ship combat here is just mindlessly aiming at a circle while the enemy AI does literally nothing. The on ground combat is also terrible but we've already discussed that.

Not counting the DLC, there are 384 playable characters, that the game boasts as "unique" which they really aren't, there are more like just 9 character classes, and all the characters play exactly like the other characters in their class. It's not a big deal because this is what I expected, still I just want to point out there's really only 9 type of characters, with some extra random character types like the rancor and wampa, but they can't really do anything. There is also a lot of vehicles in this game, and every single one of them are exactly the same. They sound different and look different, but they all function identically. So what I'm saying is, there is little to no uniqueness between all the characters and ships.

So, combat sucks and is void of any engagement, how about the puzzles? Well, I'll tell you! The puzzles are ludicrously easy and take zero thought. This being a kid game makes easy puzzles more acceptable, but still man oh my god, just so easy. And the little panel puzzles are so lazy, they're ridiculously easy and require no thought, and it's the same content copy and pasted throughout the entire game. Seriously the laziest puzzles I've seen in recent memory. You can even buy a character upgrade that just lets you SKIP the puzzles, a humongous red flag that the puzzles aren't fun and are busy work. ANY GAME THAT ALLOWS YOU TO SKIP PUZZLES MEANS THE PUZZLES ARE POORLY DESIGNED!

Talking about upgrades, there's quite a few! and they're all completely pointless! In fact, I would recommend NOT upgrading simply because it makes a brain dead game even more easy.

With 9 films being included in this game, there's only 5 levels for each movie, but in between the levels you play through the story in the open world. For example, you start Episode I on the Trade Federation Ship and have to fight your way through it, it's cool. I liked the way the open world and the levels were weaved together as you play through the movie. The problem is, once you play through a movie, the open world segments of the movie are completely inaccessible and not re-playable. Once you go through a section of the movie in the open world it's gone forever, the only way to play it again is to make a completely new save file. A design oversight that I wish was addressed as I enjoyed playing through the movie a lot.

Now onto the 5 levels for each movie, it's decent. The pacing is pretty fast, you just FLY through the movies. They get you in and out as fast as possible. For example in episode III, you go straight from killing Count Dooku to killing General Grievous like 2 minutes later, it's insane. At the same time though, there are some levels that just feel like wasted filler. The most notable example is the Level from Episode V where Han and some guy go and repair some radios or something. It never happens in the movie and is a complete waste of time. You don't even see Luke and the Wampa, you instead see Han repair some radios. Really bizarre choice man.

I'm gonna rant about performance for a bit. I have a very powerful computer that can run just about everything I throw at it, but some sections of this game are so poorly optimized that the frame rate chokes extremely hard and is near unplayable. I imagine playing this game on the switch is a nightmare. If my massive PC can't handle this stuff, then I know it's the game being poorly optimized and not on my end. This was at its worse in the droid factory from Episode II. The framerate goes to a slideshow, it's unbearable. Also in some open world sections it chokes extremely hard, most notably on Endor, the framerate is just insufferable. How this has not been fixed or how no one is talking about this is beyond me. The game has also crashed a couple times, at complete random.

Another problem is the DLC characters. they are completely wasted potential. NONE of the DLC characters have any voice-lines, they're all completely mute, which makes them feel out of place among vanilla characters. It's quite disappointing to see some fan favorite characters and they're just completely silent. most of the DLC characters also lack any real special abilities or uniqueness. The characters from the classic pack all just play like their standard counterparts, the characters from the SOLO pack all just play exactly like every other scoundrel character, etc. I'd say the Mandalorian is the most unique character as he has a unique looking gun (still functions the same as every other gun) and a little grogu companion following him around. Ahsoka is the second most unique as she's duel wielding light sabers, and I'm pretty sure she's the only character in the game that does this, so she has unique animations. The Bad Batch DLC was the biggest missed opportunity as every character literally has a unique ability in the show, yet the game just has them all as regular generic soldiers. They could've done so much more with the DLC. Also there is no DLC levels, which sucks considering all the other recent LEGO games have them.

Two huge missing features that you probably already know about are Online Co-Op and a character customizer. I have no idea why Online Co-Op isn't here, it's 2022 and they still don't have it, what are you doing TT. And it blows my mind that they just decide to not put a character customizer in the most ambitious LEGO game yet, when it has been in literally every past LEGO game in this fashion. Huge miss and some more bad choices from TT.

The cut scenes and stuff are OK, there are some funny and charming moments, but with the story being at such a fast pace even the cut-scenes feel abrupt. I think I prefer the cut-scenes of the original games but these ones are good as well.

Now I've been ripping on this game, but I do like it. It's a fun romp through the Star Wars universe and tbh I just enjoy being in the Universe. Mostly all the locations you'd want to explore are here, and are fun to explore. There were a lot of moments that got a smile out of me as a Star Wars fan. A lot of love has been put in to make the worlds of this game feel authentic, and I think the game does that very well. And despite the roster not actually being unique, I enjoyed seeing all the random characters that I recognize, though I have to complain, it's lame that we don't get any force ghosts, no Indiana Jones, and a surprising lack of Jedi characters, while a lot of the roster is filled with random meme characters no one cares about. Also jet-packs and astromechs were nerfed lol.

I'm gonna try to do a conclusion paragraph now OK?

This is a game with more content than we've ever seen in a LEGO game or Star Wars game. It's got more worlds, characters, ships, etc. Than we've ever seen in one package, it's impressive. The Worlds have been lovingly recreated and feel authentic. It's got a decent amount of that LEGO charm we all know and love, but the flaws of a LEGO game are as prevalent as ever. The game-play is void of any engagement or excitement, and just feels like busy work. After 15 years, TT games hasn't bothered fixed any of the core game-play issues that every LEGO game has, and some aspects of it are even worse here than in previous titles. With some terrible design choices, lack of features, poor performance in some areas, and quite poor DLC, I cannot give this game anymore than a 3 out of 5. It is a game that I'd recommend to anyone that loves LEGO and loves Star Wars, but its flaws cannot be ignored. The game is as ambitious as ever, but the age old saying "quality over quantity" rings truer than ever here.

Played the special 1994 version using a Logitech extreme 3D Pro Joystick

I really want to love this game and give it a higher ranking but it's just so flawed.

This game is so damn charming, and it can also be so much fun. It's intense and exhilarating at times. The majority of the time though, it is frustrating.

This is an INSANELY difficult game. I am of course a newbie to flight sims, but holy shit man this game is so difficult. It took me like straight up 10 hours to finally understand everything in the game, and that's not entirely my fault.

The controls aren't explained well at all, and are confusing. having to search through controls and test everything, scouring the internet for tips and guides, it's nuts man. There is a brief moment though, where you understand everything and you start whooping ass. It's a lot of fun, lining up shots and blowing dudes up.

After a couple missions of fun though, you get some missions that are so damn painful to play. It's like the developers didn't even play test these ones. Some missions HEAVILY require you to rely on the AI teammates and the teammates suck. They do absolutely nothing most of the time, so it's almost always you vs a million people when I think the devs intended for you teammates to be helpful.

These missions that are just an insane difficulty spike are present on every tour. Tours being how the game works the levels, 3 tours, 12-14 levels in each tour. 3rd tour ends with the death star trench run, and I'm not gonna bother with the 2 expansion pack tours. Back to the mission rants, these levels are just so not fun. It's so frustrating to do everything well and make no mistakes, but your teammates suck and die so you fail the mission.

The worst missions are ones where they put you in a Y-Wing (big, slow, bomber type ship) and have you fight a million tie fighters and interceptors, like bro what the fuck put me in a X-Wing. I hate driving the Y-Wing, it's just not fun and it blows.

The trench run is OK, nothing really special about it. You can either cheese it or die, unless you're super good in which you have to go full speed, no shield or weapon boost, and just gun for it, which is pretty fun but extremely hard.

This game is so advanced for 1993, and it's got so much fun, so much immersion, awesome soundtrack, etc. It has SO MUCH going for it, but the levels are just insanely frustrating and feel unbalanced. If this game was more fair, it'd be a 5/5, but this shit just gets infuriating. I would only recommend this to the most DIE HARD of Star Wars fans. I've clocked in like 15 hours and I'm just done man. I'm sick of the bullshit levels, and I wanna move on.

(See all my Star Wars Rankings and reviews on my profile here, the list is titled "Star Wars Ranked.")

Beat this one on "brave" difficulty, AKA normal mode.

Honestly I can say I think easy mode is more fun cause it's just not as tedious and painful. Jedi mode is just poorly designed and not fun, so I didn't play on that one.

The game is not bad! In my run through all the Star Wars games, this is the second game that really felt like Star Wars. Despite having a lot of enemies not seen in the films, it sounds and looks like Star Wars. The presentation of this game is perfect.

The actual gameplay it's self is OK. It's a run and gun game that features platforming sections, boss fights, and Mode-7 vehicle sections. The blasters and lightsaber doesn't necessarily feel bad, but it's not that satisfying either. I think this is due to the constant enemy spam. I understand that it was a design choice but I think enemy spam is just lame and not fun. The lightsaber is pretty much never needed in this game, like just use the upgraded blaster the entire time it's just better.

That's another design issue, if you die, you lose all of your blaster upgrades, which SUCKS. it handicaps you really bad, and it can basically soft lock you on certain sections. Specifically, the Cantina boss, if you don't have a fully upgraded blaster for it, it's gonna be insanely difficult, possibly impossible.

That also reminds me that this game is absolutely impossible to get through without taking damage all the time. I mean it's fine since you're also given health drops on almost every enemy kill, but it's still frustrating when a lot of hits are just unavoidable.

The platforming is fine, nothing to write home about. There's not much platforming anyways, but the stuff that's here is a little stiff, and the hitboxes for the character and the platforms are a little wonky.

Some other specifics, the trench run looks phenomenal, but again, not that fun to play. Would definitely rank it low among the other Star Wars trench runs in games.

The game also almost entirely takes place on Tatooine, which sucks. It gets really old, I don't know why the dev team decided to make so much of this game to be Luke just fighting creatures out in the desert. Pretty pointless content.

Despite all my complaints, the game can still be good fun. I would recommend playing this on easy, as you'll probably get more enjoyment that way. It's a fun little romp through "A New Hope" that feels respectful towards the movie. I'd recommend playing it to any Star Wars fan, flaws and all.

(See all my Star Wars Rankings and reviews on my profile here, the list is titled "Star Wars Ranked.")

Really a shame I'm ending my 8-bit era journey of Star Wars games on this one.

This is 100% the worst out of the three Famicom/NES Star Wars games. All three games are ridiculously hard, but this one is just on another level. It's not fun AT ALL, this is like one of the least fun games ever I swear.

most the levels are just endless fucking mazes, and the physics are just so weird, which makes platforming a nightmare. Absolutely garbage level design and garbage platforming.

The Sound design is some of the worst I've ever encountered on NES. The sounds are all just shit, really kinda ear hurting. The music will randomly cut in and out, it just plays at random times.

I didn't even finish this game because it's just so bad and not fun. This game deserves to be thrown away, forgotten, and lost to time. It's complete shit. What makes this even more insulting is that this came out in 1992, FUCKING 1992!!! This was at the very end of the NES's life, they should've been pushing the system to the limits, and by then had some good ideas about how to design a video game. But instead they drop this absolute garbage.

Seriously, this game is terrible.

(See all my Star Wars Rankings and reviews on my profile here, the list is titled "Star Wars Ranked.")

Man I absolutely hate this game

Now, I'm gonna be nice and start out with the positives here; the graphics and sound is great. The 8-bit Star Wars music is awesome, and the game looks really good for NES, the pixel art is just superb.

The actual game just sucks though. The platforming is super slippery and annoying. Enemies are also just a major hassle. I just hate the game play, it isn't fun at all. At least the game gives you a health bar, multiple lives, and multiple continues. I think they did this cause they knew how sloppy the game was.

The game is also super confusing, there's a lot of things you have to do to win, and you are told nothing. In the start, it's a top down open area where you have to find where R2-D2 is and rescue him, Find Obi-Wan and get the lightsaber, find some shield for the falcon, and find the cantina and rescue Han Solo. All while dealing with shitty platforming and enemies trying to kill you. After that, you have to move through Mos Eisley and collect more shield for the Falcon, and alas finally get to the falcon. You take off into space and have to dodge meteors. This section of the game is actually impossible unless you've collected enough shields. Next you go to the Death Star, which is an actual maze. It is absolutely horrendous level design, and is so frustrating to play through. After you SOMEHOW find your way the the maze, you rescue Leia and get out of there. You do a space shooting section which is pretty lame, then do ANOTHER space shooting section. Finally, you do the Death Star trench run, which is a top down view. It is very short, and very lame. It's just so dull man. The trench run from the Japanese Famicom Star Wars game is a million times better.

There is no fun factor to this game, shit just sucks. It's a slippery, frustrating mess to get lost in. The music and graphics are superb but it doesn't save shit gameplay. If anyone says this is a good game, I insist they're blinded by nostalgia.

(See all my Star Wars Rankings and reviews on my profile here, the list is titled "Star Wars Ranked.")

Really just another grindy - Pay to win mobile game.

The only reason I've played so much of this game is because it's Star Wars and I'm a sucker for it. I loved collecting my favorite characters and building a badass team, but you eventually just hit a wall where it's like the game desperately wants you to pay some money to progress faster.

Shame! game is OK as far as mobile games go these days.

This is honestly a really cool hidden gem. I'm assuming this has been completely forgotten due to it being region locked to Japan at the time.

The graphics are pretty cool, while simple it's got charm to it. The sounds in this game is also super impressive, the voice lines are great and the music is even better.

The gameplay itself can be a bit simple but it's still pretty fun, and the game doesn't overstay it's welcome. It's just fun man.

The atmosphere of this game is suprisingly good, I found myself smiling at some bits as just a fan of Star Wars.

Really awesome game here, it's definitely worth checking out, though you've gotta emulate it and hassle with that stuff. It's a fun game, and really impressive for 1991.

Same exact thing as the Atari console version, just a little bit better. There's basically no way to play this now though, so that's kinda a bummer. I got nothing else to say lol. You're only able to play the Atari console version through emulators these days.
