This game gets a 1 star when DL knocks me out and we on the same team. This game gets 5 stars when Erick dies

I gotta write down my thoughts later. The ending to this game...

I love Terraria and playing with my homies

This review contains spoilers

I do not know where to even begin with my review for this game. I made a # on Twitter called #TearsOfTheKatsu to keep progress of my playthrough

I was originally doing a journal here too but I got so absorbed into it's world I legitimately forgot to keep track of it within the journal and kept playing. I vaguely remembered now but it is too late LMAO

Speaking from honesty, the game does face some issues. It is supposed to be a direct sequel to BOTW, something rare in the TLOZ franchise, but it does feel like it does as much as it can to distance itself from the events of its prequel. Which feels weird... Why not acknowledge it?

So, the story. Is it the best of the franchise? I would personally incline for a no, I would say OoT is still the best this series has offered in terms of story. And while it is not as "perfect" I find it to be an emotive, intriguing and overall good story. I did not find myself bored, rather wanting to know more about it despite it's complete lack of connection to Botw

There is a complaint I have seen and I do agree with, they could have used each of the past time sages to give us different views regarding the Imprisoning War. Following the exact same pattern in every temple makes it overly repetitive (They all say the exact same thing)

Although in the final temple (Which I somehow did before the 4 regions) Mineru does give us a new input and closes up that story the other sages kept repeating, which I found to be a good "twist" after so much of the exact same telling from different mouths.

Me getting to the final temple, therefore seeing Rauru's sacrifice before meeting the other sages is part of the peculiar philosophy of this game that I personally resonate with in some ways. The story is scattered in a way that no matter the order, you can always find it. However this does create a "problem" where you can find the end of the story before it's beginning. ESPECIALLY with the memories from the tears

Which, to sort of finish talking about the story of this game, what a crazy plot twist it was to find out Zelda was the Light Dragon the whole time. That dragon we saw from the very beginning and first dive jump of the game. Truly fantastic and emotive writing there

The gameplay for me is absorbing, I love just exploring with no "linear" objective in mind. Granted that you do have a bunch of main quests, side quests, side adventures (amazing addition) and shrine quests to do but the liberty you have at the moment of not only getting there but doing them is what makes this game so special for me. I really enjoy going through Hyrule just doing whatever. Talking with NPCs, fighting random camps or just appreciating the incredible views this game can offer even if it is on the Switch.

Speaking of exploration, I did not find myself bored exploring the surface of Hyrule again. It was really fun seeing the changes they made but that lack of acknowledgment of the previous game hurts a bit, especially as a big fan of Botw myself. Other than that, the Sky Islands were amazing, though also fall into some repetitiveness (as in you see the same islands here and there) but it was really fun nonetheless. The low gravity was an addition that, despite seeing it in the trailer many times, still caught me off guard. Those zones are so much fun I wish we had even more, I really enjoyed them. The new bosses, Flux Constructs and Gleeoks were really fun to fight as well, they are a good challenge to go through at all stages of the game. Can't forget about The Depths !! What a surprise it was to see it's basically Hyrule Dos. The music was good, and the gloom "mechanic" of not being able to restore hearts without a special food was amazing. Made the game feel more difficult but not in an artificial way, which I appreciate a lot, And Froxes are fun to fight too but I find the other 2 new minibosses to be more fun to battle

It is genuinely amazing how they managed to put this game on that console, and you can tell it is SCREAMING to be put on better hardware. I got the Totk OLED for this game thanks to my friends, so that makes it even more of an special and unique experience for me. I did face frame drops in certain areas but nothing too bad to make me drop or hate the game. Because more than the game itself the console is the one to point at and blame

The new abilities are so unique and fun. Fuse gives you so many options for combat and other fun things. I haven't fully explored every single interaction myself, even with 315 hours of play time it still feels like I barely know anything. ULTRAHAND, WE LOVE ULTRA HAND !! I am not a Japanese Engineer from Twitter doing Mechas but it is a fun mechanic to use and I want to learn more about it and it's limits. Recall is a fun ability as well and quite handy. Got me feeling like DIO. Autobuild is VERY handy, thankful they put it in. ASCEND, YES !! Fun and extremely useful

The zonai devices and batteries are also a huge part of this game, which I found to be fun to use and craft things with. Though I did not really do more than scratch the surface as I have only done simple (and clean) things with it, which I really would like to investigate and learn more of

Closing this review up as I can't stop talking. The music of this game is F I R E. Especially the Wind Temple and Spirit Temple bosses and the last section of the game which are my personal favorite picks. The visuals are arguably the best we have seen in the franchise. Such massive improvements in terms of gameplay (and visuals, animations, etc) over Botw are a gigantic step forward. My only complaint with this game is it's lack of continuity and connection with it's prequel and certain repetitiveness in the development of it's story. Although that did not make my enjoyment any less, just a thought I hold and share with other players and friends

NOW, FOR LAST. THE LAST SECTION OF THE GAME. THIS IS THE LEGEND OF ZELDA. ALL CAPS, ALL PEAK, ALL FIRE. WHAT IS THIS GAME?!?! HOW DID THEY EVEN DO IT, WHO THOUGHT OF THIS?? THEY COOKED !!!!!!

I genuinely think that this is a once in a lifetime experience in gaming. It made me love playing games more than ever. Made me enjoy the fact and privilege that I have to truly enjoy this medium and feel connected to it. A good, difficult and memorable fight with the villain Ganondorf, character that we had not seen ever since Twilight Princess... I put my hands up and dare say this was the best final fight in the entire franchise

I speak from my heart when I say I cried with the final parts of this game. Something I legitimately have only done before in Kingdom Hearts, but this time it was also during a fight. I never had that happen to me. I believe it is the most emotive, fun and simply amazing section I have experienced in the gaming industry

I love games and talking about them
I love The Legend of Zelda
I love Tears of the Kingdom

And thank you for the 358th time to my friends for literally making this experience possible

I like card games and marvel

One of the greatest games ever made. Seeing Goku on this game and going "Goku?!" every time still hits the same way

This game actually changed my life. Zack Fair became one of my favorite characters ever and of all time. What an engaging and intriguing story. I started playing this game on my birthday because I believed it would mark a before and after in my life and I was right...

Truly a game that I cherish with my heart. The characters, while having some old faces from FF VII, depict to us new untold fragments that made them who they are in FF VII. Knowing this is a prequel to the ultra classic, the ending of this game could not be avoided no matter what, no matter how hard I tried... Nothing changed

That probably sounds far too deep for a game about a hero boy, but, gaming is an amazing medium to express ourselves and find ourselves within it. From its insanity and fantasy to those moments that help us connect with the characters that feel a bit more realistic. Maybe the devs think of it in a similar way, I hope !!

The gameplay was good, at first a little slow but once you start obtaining more powerful abilities (and summons) as well as items it gets much better and your progress becomes far smoother. Music for this game isn't anything too mind blowing but it's got it's bangers like Zack's theme, this game's iteration of Sephiroth's theme and "Why" which is the final song of this title. Watching the interactions between the characters before the events of VII was pretty interesting and fun, especially Zack with the farm trio, Zack and Cloud, Zack and Aerith and so on. Also certain other characters too !!

Even with all the fun, the story is rather tragic, to the point we can't help it but feel bad for everything Shinra has made our beloved characters go through. And Genesis too. I have a whole thread on this game on my twitter with #KatsuCore and I did 100% the game. Saving the New Game+ for another day. Peak fiction

I FORGOT TO WRITE A REVIEW OF THIS GAME AAAAH

This game makes me love classic turn based RPGs more than any other game. The story is fantastic, the characters lovable and memorable, the music is amazing, for a game that released in 1997 the art is actually quite damn good too.

I don't know how much I've got to say about this game that comes to mind, it's been a while since I last touched it since I started to do a 100% run because of the damn MISSABLES !!

Anyways tho, a really fun and engaging experience. Made me want to play the rest of the FF franchise to see how much things have changed through the years but that is something I have to invest quite some time on, so maybe I start some day with 1 through 6 !!

Peak and none other than PEAK itself. I want to play the remake one day.

If you love Kingdom Hearts you will absolutely love this game no matter what. There aren't many story elements to take from this game alone but it has a kinda insane (and hilarious) reveal at the end

I do not know why people call this the "Kairi game" of the franchise but... We will give her that !! And I will also give her that this version of Dearly Beloved is wonderful, feels like a splash of emotions with so many instruments going at it at the same time

The gameplay is very fun, I guess it falls into the same repetitiveness of every rhythm game ever but with the colorful stages, beloved characters and fantastic music repertoire that repetition becomes much more enjoyable and less of a "burden" to the game

I see myself revisiting this game just to have fun playing my favorite songs or doing one for the challenge. How they handled the boss fights in this game left me flabbergasted, it truly is a lot of fun. Quite unexpected but it was fantastic experience and a blissful collection of KH's amazing songs with simple and clean gameplay

I tried to rainbow excellent every song but Dark Domination normal stage still beats my ass to this day. Maybe one day but for now, I'll leave that for later

Probably the best Mario Kart title I have ever played? It was really fun. The circuits were fire, the OST is great. Characters, while some favorites are missing, are good as well, maybe with some inclusions that I would rather have replaced by others but that's fine.

As for items the game is about fine with them, though you do not have any specials or the crazy additions from Wii like the Mega Mushroom but you've got great options like the Boomerang Flower and the Honk box thing.

The DLCs made this game even better, having Link riding Captain Falcon's ship (car or whatever that is) was a pretty fun experience. Playing with friends, online or family was also really nice. I love MK8 and hope I play the Deluxe version someday.

I am not a fan of the controls and it is a gacha game but not done well. Sure, free to play Mario Kart sounds good until you lock everything behind currency you have to get with real money...

Really nothing to say about this game lmao

I got this game when I graduated from little boys school and wow. It was so much fun. That mechanic of having 2 characters ride and have them with their unique specials. The circuits were really fun to play, I will never forget this games Rainbow Road.

Double Dash goat

Handheld Mario Kart?? Yup yup. This game was pretty nice, again, this is a series that playing alongside friends definitely improves the experience by a huge margin.

The challenges of this game were quite unique and exceptional. It was fun but also difficult enough. The circuits were fun to play, the item selection was varied enough and just overall a dope game.

Waluigi Pinball is one of the best stages in all Mario Kart. I love this game

One of if not the greatest Mario Kart title for sure.

This game was so much fun to play either alone or with friends. I always had a blast racing against my brother and doing all the crazy tricks, taking all the dope shortcuts and using items to ruin his day. This is just like Mario Party, you are here to lose friends not make them LMAO.

The circuits are really cool and unique, the music is great and catchy, and of course I have some nostalgic feelings towards this game as well. Unlockables here were pretty good like Funky Kong and other things. The Mini games were fun and exciting to play. Just really great overall. The mod community also goes crazy with this one.

Te amo Mario Kart Wii
