This game makes Resident Evil 7 look like an extended tech demo, that's how insane it is. It improves on almost every part from it's predecessor and goes back to some of it older titles. I like to see this game as a combination of Resident Evil 1, 4 and 7. Well designed levels, brutal and intense combat, crazy scenarios. Good variety of enemies and some insane bosses. I also love the switch to first person in the last two games. A must play for survival horror fans no doubt. Also the doll part? I will never sleep again thank you.

Friendship with Kojima ended, Sam Lake is my best friend now.

Ghost of Tsushima is an amazing game okay buddy, got that? Let me explain: Beautiful visuals with some jawdropping landscapes and great use of color. Interesting story with some emotional moments, good visceral combat with the option to go stealth, ranged, charge in with your katana... There is a lot of content on the island but some of it is pretty repetitive, the combat starts to get repetitive and too easy after a while(even on harder difficulties). If you're looking for a AAA game done right you have found it. Suckerpunch really put a lot of passion in this one. The platinum grind for this game isn't too bad either. Definitely recommend this game.

About an hour long, it's more of a spec ops approach so it's more action focused than the base game. It's enjoyable for sure and it's free so what's not to love. Not to mention it ties up some loose ends from the game which I appreciate.

Dark Souls with gun(and not as good).

2015

So I recently saw a Youtube video that said this game was underrated and explained why, I wasn't fully convinced the game was good but I was motivated to try it. I never had a WiiU but I did start playing it once on my PS4 but quit after 1 hour and thought hey I wanna finish it this time around so I did. I'm gonna be honest, this game is no masterpiece but I did enjoy playing it, weirdly enough it's something fresh if you're sick of all the repetitive open world ♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft keeps pushing out lately. In short this is a linear zombie survival horror experience which lasts about 6-8 hours, you play as a random survivor but the twist here is if you die you get to play as a new survivor and now have to kill your former zombified self to claim all of your goods back. Sadly, and I really mean sadly I didn't die so I couldn't kill my previous survivor which looks like something fun. Ok but enough sidetracking, the game takes place in London and it's honestly a really interesting location for a zombie apocalypse, you get to play in the streets of london, tower of london, buckingham palace, underground metro tubes,... It creates a unique atmosphere talking about atmosphere this game does a good job of keeping you on your toes with it's creepy vibe. You have a lot of guns to choice from, gunplay is OK, melee combat is very basic but you will use it frequently. Story is forgetable tbh, just like the characters. I also experienced a few crashes but besides that everything was fine. Honestly im just surprised I enjoyed this as much as I did and what kinda tone the game set. I really hope Ubisoft doesn't give up on this IP and actually makes a sequel for all platforms. I think they could create something awesome this day and age but please do keep it linear or linearish. We already have too many open world games as is... Still here huh? What are you waiting for wanker! Buy this game alright chap? ;)

Hands down the best souls game that's not made by Fromsoftware themselves. This scratched that Bloodborne itch for me, talking about Bloodborne... WHERE IS THE PC PORT/REMAKE SONY???

Really short DLC that really offers nothing new unfortunately. However I love the design of the manor and zombies, it's aestheticly pleasing for sure. Euhhhh what else oh the crossbow sucks dick and that's kinda the only new weapon too so yeah there's that. If you wanted some more Dead Island 2 content here it is but if you're expecting something new or more it's not here.

How did they do the doll house again and it still scared the shit out of me.

This game has sooooo many issues like the controls, the annoying headache inducing filters(which you can turn off on PC thank god) and the bugs and glitches. It's not a terrible game like I hear from some people but it's not the best either, far from it. I think it's an okay game but mostly a GOOD horror experience. It's also a big LSD trip really, IT SEPARATES THE MEN FROM THE BOYS.

I'm honestly surprised how fun this game was with a friend. Don't get me wrong, I've always been a big fan of the first one, replayed it a few times too. My concern was more because of the development hell and long development time this game had.

After getting the platinum trophy on it however I can tell you this is a certified good zombie game and a fun co-op experience. Loved the areas and the attention to detail they had, game had some good humor too. Combat feels good and I have to praise the maiming system in this, it's fucking incredible. Probably the most detailed gore I have seen to date. I also really liked exploring the worlds and doing the sidequests but my god there are many locked containers(maybe a little too much). Oh yeah the co-op works flawlessly, no issues, all players carry over their progression and stuff after a co-op session and so on. It's great!

Now for some things I didn't like: I wasn't the biggest fan of the new skillcard system, some cards had a bad trade-off(i'm looking at you autophage cards) and you just have too few cardslots I feel like. A normal skilltree would have been better imo. I also HATE and I mean HATE how few ammo and medkits your character can carry, it feels like im running out every two minutes or so, so yeah some inventory upgrades would have been nice, they could have implented this in the skillcard system. Also zombies keep spawning everywhere ALL the time, sometimes this is a good thing but most times this just annoyed me. Lastly they just kinda ripped of the "Fury" thing from Dying Light 2 where u become an unstoppable cracked out zombie(There's always a bigger fish right).

Tbh not as good or scary as the first one or the Whistleblower DLC when they came out. Enemies are still too easy to avoid/run past and the story was just all over the place. Then i'm in the school then back to reality, school, reality, school, reality,... Kinda annoyed me a lot and the ending? Wtf bro, nothing is explained so go fuck yourself lmao. It's not a bad game but it's not a good one either. Graphics, animations and audio are all good though.

The good ending is such a love letter to fans, just a shame it's pretty hard to get your first time around not knowing what you can and can't do. So excited to see what the Metro series is gonna bring us next. 4A Games is cooking no doubt.
