The best of the Persona stories I have experienced so far. The characters are all super likable and they all have interesting developments as they go on.
The combat is not nearly bad as everyone says, which was surprising because I was expecting the game to be incredibly hard and grindy, I quite enjoy the strategy mechanic as it makes the combat encounters very quick and Persona 2 doesn't waste your time at all unlike modern RPGs.

I really loved this game and the story but the only thing weighing it down for me was Saga. Like Jesse she is the most boring character surrounded by a cast of far more interesting characters than she is.

The whole anchor to her in this story is her daughter, who we never see and only have 2 short phone calls with, is going to die but I couldn't work up caring about this plotline at all as it has no development and we know nothing of these 2 characters and Saga eats up time that could be better spent on the titular character, Alan.

This is Remedy's most restrictive game, which is sad considering how open and refreshing Control was. I was hoping they would go with the original concept of AW 1 where it was open world and Alan could do side quests and get to know the townsfolk but surprisingly AW 1 offers more freedom than this game, it's not really a criticism just feels like a missed opportunity.

The enemy variety is also gets pretty stale after a while especially in Alan's sections where you fight one enemy type for the entire game

Great gameplay changes but its' a death of a thousand cuts for me:
Bad voice acting and recasting
facial animations look stiff and lifeless
monster sound changes that are less horrifying
unnecessary story changes that leave more questions than answers that weren't originally there

Really addicting RTS and the lack of base building and resource management and solely focus on the combat makes you really strategize and plan out your attacks. Also classic Bungie story telling and world building

Really well written but I found the end to be anticlimactic and not that interesting. They could have done interesting things with the characters at the end but just didn't

Easily Swery's best game, so of course it is an unfinished story but still worth checking out for the charming writing and characters

The first hour or so exploring the Great Plateau and soaking in the environmental storytelling is one of the greatest strengths of the game and then a ghost dumps the entire plot on you and ruins all the mystery of the story and world. Still fun to explore though

They really made a game that not only beat out the original but also a remake made by Nintendo
