I started playing fortnite before it became known for what it is today. I used to enjoy playing (Save the World) OG fornite basically a zombie survival game then the developers ditched it to turn it into a battle royal game. It was the right move in the end for the business but they do not give a shit about Save the World anymore.
It only really get quality of life updates every now and then and the new maps and themes that do get added are so lazy there a joke. Throw in a few new locations that look slightly different fill it with existing assets that have been in the game since day 1 give it a music theme and send it out.
All the locations in the game feel exactly the same. No matter where you go everything is the same. Enemies are the same, Missions are the same, Assets and the same. Copy and Paste.
Its not worth playing anymore besides getting free V-Bucks for completing missions but OMG are the missions so boring. There are all literally the same you will be repeating missions over and over and over and over again with the only difference being the characters (You never get to see) occasionally talking to each other and this would be okay if the dialog wasn't cringe and uninspired. To sum it all up Save the world is a copy and paste repetitive grind and not worth your time unless you want them V-Bucks.

The Call of Duty of Age of Empires
This one doesn't do it for me it feels like its been streamlined and had a ton of content and features ripped out to make it more about reaction time and speed running. Really disappointing. I hope they don't do the same to Age of mythology retold. I heard the campaign was decent so i might come back one day to try that.

I still play this with friends. The best one in the franchise in my opinion.

This was my first free game i got when i converted to PC way back in like 2015 the graphics blew me away at the time and i played it a heap i managed to get to rank IV in tanks and i don't think i will ever get past that ever.
I hardly play anymore unless its with friends every now and then but the game is insanely grindey when you get to IV tier and the Developers are so greedy most of the tanks they sell are overpriced and cost more then a brand new triple AAA game its seriously ridiculous and full of corporate Greed they don't give a shit about the player its become a pay to play game that's not worth the money unless your a wallet gamer.

I was never into games like Balder's Gate didn't think i would be a fan of a click and point adventure that's the way i saw this when i started playing but its grown on me and i love it.
This game stands as a beacon of light amongst the corporate greed of modern gaming. It is truly a message to other developers on how to make a good game without monetizing the fuck out of everything and milking the fan base for every penny they have. This game respects the player and isn't tied down by having to change its identity to please some Rich asshole who has shares in the company.

This game hit the ground running when it first came out. The internet myself and everyone i knew was hooked on this game i played the absolute crap out of it until the server i was hosting got wiped due to bugs in the game code.

My Steam Review
This is probably the most cinematic game i have ever played so far. The environments are beautiful along with the graphics/animations that really bring this game to life. It really feels like your going on an adventure when you play this game. I used to play Ratchet and Clank back on the PlayStation 2 and i hadn't touched another until this game Rift Apart and happy to say that i was not disappointed. Love the variation in the weapons and the upgrades you can apply to them was awesome it was always exciting going to the shop to discover what gun was to be unlocked next. I loved playing as Rivet it was nice to be able to play as other characters in the game.
The game is not perfect though some of its drawbacks are that the game is way to easy i was playing on the hardest difficulty throughout the whole game and only died a few times on some boss battles but apart from that it was really a cake walk. I feel that there needed to be more different types of enemies there are a lot to start with but after reaching late game it becomes a bit stale fighting the same enemies over and over again.
The story was interesting enough to keep me engaged i wish there was more time spent for Rivet and Ratchet getting to know each other it felt a bit rushed when they finally meet late game.
Overall i would give this game a solid 8 out of 10 being a Ratchet and Clank fan myself for other people just coming into this for the first time maybe a 7 out of 10.
Would recommend picking up on sale not full price.
