I have about 80 hours in the game and it keeps growing. It is a great time for the genre it is. Its not worth 5 stars though for it gets REAL grindy at the later stages of the game. Other than that, i can see this game being like minecraft; you go on a week binge then dont think about it for three weeks, and frankly, im still on that week

People are nostalgia biased on hating this game. This game has the best movement in the series and the best locations. It feels more like you're exploring than just going from one edge of a map to the other. The shotlock commands aren't as fun as Drives because Drives were busted. The keyblades actually give you a reason to not just use the newest keyblade you earn, and i really like that. Only thing is the disney attractions felt just bad to use and a waste of time in mini-boss and boss fights. Even on Critical mode they felt cheap and i felt bad using them. The game is great but there are very few minor things i dont like so i dont think its a 10/10
It is exactly what i expected what a portable Kingdom Hearts game would be. Short missions you could beat in a timely manner fits too well for a game on this console. With one of the most heart-wrenching bosses in the franchises history, I would recommend it if you got the game lying aroung. If not, just watch the movie the 1.5+2.5 provides
It's a shame so many people complained about Roxas in KH2 being too long. This feels like this is what that was supposed to be but moved it so people wouldnt be upset. It's amazing and it came out about 1 year before KH3 so i immediately understood the movement mechanics of KH3 before anything. It's a good time but a little short (its no longer a problem though you can just go play KH3 now)
It reminds me of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Three different people, three different stories; although in this one, they all feel a lot more varied than in that. This isnt a game you play all at once though. You should sit on an ending before playing the next character or else you will get burnt out like i did. It's interesting to see the same places but different environments but other than the story they all feel somewhat samey, but thats okay. I cannot stress enough to not play them all at the same time again though.
The Drop system is the main mechanic and its easily the worst part of this game; and when the main gimmick of your game is so bad i dont wanna use it, its not a good game. Flow-motion was in its infancy and it shows. Its incredibly overpowered here and there is no reason to not just fly around the map the whole time. I have finished this game exactly once. Unlike the other games in this series, I just cant go back to it.
This is one of the only remakes that make the original worse in comparison. Not only do they add certain things that make the game more fun, they increase the graphics to my favorite game of all time. Not only that, but there is two extra games to play as well. We love to see a remix thats better than the thing they are making better.
