I'm honestly happy I got a chance to play this fine work of art for the first time back in 2022. Truly one of the best Nintendo games of all time.

I played this at a friends house as a kid thinking "The internet was wrong, this game is O-KAY!". I was a stupid kid

This game was so close walking out with a 3.5/5 but THEY HAD to add a enemy called the Twerkey

For the first handheld mario game, I honestly enjoyed my time with it. It has a unique charm that makes it stands out from most other 2D mario games and the music is pretty neat. Controls take a while to get used to but overall a soild package if you have an hour to spare.

A game that's almost as fun as don't whiz on the electric fence
