The SNES took what the NES laid down and completely ran with it to even greater lengths. With refinements in graphics/music/gameplay the SNES library has managed to hold up incredibly well with so many series having their peak entries on the console. While not my favorite console library it's damn close and still contains a handful of my favorite games of all time.
