Never understood the love for this franchise. Sloppy combat and 5 minute cutscenes at every corner are super frustrating. There are some fun missions and activities to do though.
Game good.
RDR2 somehow manages to balance so many characters and tell you so much about them in natural ways. As you watch Arthur change and develop, you change with him, you have a different point of view on things and you start having doubts when Arthur does. Music is impeccable and the sound design in general is great. Gorgeous visuals and tons of activities to do really brings this game to life. But the restrictions of how to do some missions, general tedium in mission structures and Chapter 5 in general do bring the game down for me.

Wasn’t mind blown by the story but it did contain great writing and the characters are great. I have a load of problems with the mission design though. It feels like so many mission are, go to where the mission takes place, watch a cutscene, something goes wrong and you shoot people.

Playing BOTW has to have been one of, if not the best gaming experience i’ve had. Amazing open world, so much shit to see/do. The story while being pretty lackluster is made up for the game’s amazing gameplay/exploration.
